MFC Annual General Meeting tonight 20/2/2023 at 6:30pm
Right at the end Ms Roffey told of at least a half a dozen councils she had contacted in the last few months regarding available land ( hectares as she put it) without luck. The club has been looking for 30 years we were told. Next question is when is time to give up. When is time to tell members that an inner city base is unlikely .Twenty seven million dollars doesn't go far when buy hectares in Melbourne.

Training Ground?
A great location and a great idea. A few issues to work through. The area West of the railway station and North of the course is now high rise apartments. There was parking there initially. The inside of the course is also parking. Several thousand vehicles park there for Caulfield Spring Carnival Meetings in October. There are two tunnels from the exterior to the interior of the course. Is underground parking on the cards? That is under the ovals. Of course parking for racegoers could be on the ovals though not ideal. I am actually quite hopeful about the prospect.

SEN: Dees the Best Side on Paper
I am excited by this SEN selected side. What makes it so good is the players that are not named.

TMac Close to Resuming Full Training
After all that I hope TMac snags a few this season.

TMac Close to Resuming Full Training
Stiiffy, corny but quite humorous.
- Not AFL

Training Ground?
A noisy one it seems.

Training Ground?
The Seekers might need it.

Demonstone's and Flaubert's English Grammar for Demonlanders 101
Correct, my pet hate is using "amount" in place of "number". That is, an amount of money reached by having a number of coins. Another is using the collective noun "bunch" for everything.

Tom McDonald re-injures foot
Weideman is tall and a target but not a marking one. Therein lies his problem.

2022 Brownlow Medal
Perhaps Clarry would have won the Brownlow had it not been for broken thumb courtesy of Selwood. I think he missed a match and was quiet in the next he played

GAMEDAY: SF vs Brisbane
Not only tense but people using "reigns" instead of "reins" and "labor" instead of "labour".

2022 Finals Tickets
Just reading about the anomaly whereas a member from one club can indicate to tickatek that their membership is with another club and DL members encouraging this practice. Perhaps if we meet Collingwood in a PF we can all nick the Collingwood allocation Imagine the uproar if rival clubs nicked all of the Richmond and Collingwood tickets! Methinks that Collingwood members would tear AFL House down . Although I am sure that Melbourne members would not do such a thing Ticketek should close that loophole before all hell breaks loose.

In Bungaree there is a sign for "???? " Potatoe Farm. How can you farm potatoes and not be able to spell it. Redemption is nearby as there is a farm gate where potatoes are $5 for 5 kilos (kilograms).

Can't believe the Dogs won the free kick count IN ADELAIDE

Steven May One on One
May has had two injuries whilst playing for us and both can be attributed to Tom Hawkins. A smashed eye socket and a hamstring injury. They are suspending guys for a poke in the chest and Hawkins gets away with blue murder

2021 Player Reviews #29 Jayden Hunt
Agreed Rod. I think Jaidyn has taken quite a while to get his confidence back after a concussion 3 or 4 seasons back. I don't think a season forward helped him either. Some of his spoils on bigger players last night were excellent.

CHANGES : Rd 08 vs St. Kilda
LFS I saw Weideman take 1 mark only and he is credited with 1 mark only. 8 possessions and for mine did a creditable job in the ruck. Did he fulfil his role up forward? Not in my opinion. TMac stays in.

What They Are Saying at Punt Road
Both Lever and Viney have had plantar fascia problems. Most recently Lever this season. Lever spent a lot of time hobbling and on the bench against GWS and was seen on the ground after the game with boots in hand. COVID19?

NON-MFC: Round 4, 2022
Sorry but Kelli Underwood does not call the game she commentates. Poorly. Cliche after cliche and then she tells you how old each player is and where they hail from. Kelli cannot help her voice but it far from her worst asset.
