You have got to like Goodwins response to the question of where to play the GF. He is not allowing any negatives to cross our players minds. On the question of chances I like ours as the Dogs have lost talls front and back and Martin underdone. Geelong are suspect down back and May has held Hawkins for a half until badly but not fairly injured. Port have a full team to select from and are talented and are a chance but not at the G. Sydney can win it.

Can someone explain what the rule is that pertains to "front on contact" is? Why does it only apply to marking contests and not when a ball is rolling in a particuler direction. The way I see it is you cannot take a mark running in the same direction as the ball for fear of touching an opponent running the other way.

Would love to see a tall who is a one grab mark. It is not Jackson nor is it Weideman. At times it is McDonald but it is certainly not BBB this season.

It was the Lever decision that astounded me. The umpire payed a free kick against Lever as the Adelaide player waited and shepherded the dribbling ball over the boundary line. It showed that the umpire decidedly did not understand the rule. An obvious free to the Dees paid against them.
