Four Injured Horsemen
Agree on all counts. KKs health is the priority, and if the right decision is made sets a good precent for future players and parents. Reach a deal that could help set him up in some Club role for his future.

The Breaking of Nathan Jones
Maybe, maybe not. The bloke is a warrior and will understand if he warrants selection to get there or not. We have an opportunity to play a significant role in finals this year. Sentiment counts for nothing.

The Breaking of Nathan Jones
I could not really care if he plays 300 or not.

Can Tomlinson Handle Bruce?
That was my recollection as well.

CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Bulldogs
It demonstrates the potential of Gawn and Preuss on occasion. Preuss to soften them up and then Max to dominate. Look out WC.

My 3 word player analysis v Collingwood

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Love to have Pruess and Max take on the two West Coast rucks in a Grand Final

My 3 word player analysis v Collingwood
He doesnt like front on contact, not many players do, but he will avoid it. He is a handy third tall. Not much more or less.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
In 1964 a hawthorn player would come to my Eastern suburbs school and try and give away free tickets to the game on Saturday. Rarely did any kids take them. We were all Dees, Pies or Bombers we the Dees being the Kings. If I had taken those free tickets I would have witnessed a dozen Hawks flags, but stuff it I am a Dees man. Important game today.

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Massive blow for us. Only a matter of time before we ran Jacko into the ground. Preuss to come in and work his b... off. Leave nothing in the tank. Do not panic rush Max back Grundy is a star but not a match winner. Find a way to get Brown back

Play Jack Viney forward
I can see an argument for trading Jack is he was happy or disruptive but not the one to improve balance of the midfield. For once in my life we are blessed with a full complement of midfielders. lets keep them. Viney has value as a forward but it is a matter of selling it to him and teaching an old dog some new tricks. He deserves to have an opportunity to be more creative and hit the scoreboard in his later career with some bursts through the midfield. Viney and Pickett will take two good defenders and make others nervous with Wied and jacko bringing ball to ground.

Mitch Brown
Brown still may play a role. I thought he was a bit stiff. Fumbly first game but given no chance to make amends yet. Preuss has only just played one reserves game so may have played last week if he had a bit more match condition. We need to keep Preuss or swap him for another similiar type.

Dunn not done
Thanks, yes Bate had the talent to be a 200 gamer as well. I saw him play the laziest practice game at Casey I have ever seen. It was the same game where I was chatting to one of our trainer/water bottle guys. he worked for Richmond and said he had been asked to help out.

Dunn not done
Yes, seemed an odd trade at the time. My recollection is he was drafted in close draft order to another forward, name just escapes me. Anyway the other bloke had the talent to be still playing but I thought was lazy.

THE RUN HOME 2020
Cabin fever?
-
The 2020 Trade Period
I agree with all of these Spirit. Could be win wins for player and club. Preuss for another ruckman unless Bradke is ready to step up.

THE RUN HOME 2020
Well, I am when the time between matches is a week. Anything meaningful to add.

THE RUN HOME 2020
I am sticking with the old one week or 5 days at a time. If we can beat the Pies I see us getting on a roll.

Game plans, tactics and all that jazz
Never underestimate the impact of footy intelligent players, we have added Pickett, Bennell, Jacko, Weid in the mix recently and the ball is moving forward to space. Rivers and Sparrow buy into that style and we have six newish players to create a better version of see player, pass ball tactic.

Malthouse’s Damning Assessment of Another Wasted Year
Interested take on Barlett from a former player and coach. I got canned for the same observation recently.

Wise heads please We know from experience Viney will say he is ready to play. Max too will want to be out there. Burgess final say please.

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
Agree entirely on Bennell. Let him get a block of games, he is the least of our worries and if we do make finals you want him there. If we dont make the finals he will be in the staters block for next year.
