2025 AFL Under 18 Championships
When we snare the flag and then grab Sinnema and White there’s no reason we shouldn’t be aiming for back to back

The Duursma kids remind me of the Morton’s, all talk, little action.

TRAINING: Friday 30th May 2025
In the interests of all our sanity I don’t think we should ever mention Kozz hurting himself at training.

Maynard unscathed
We don’t need to target one of them, we need to be targeting all of them. Absolutely relentless tackling pressure, borderline fair and hard. It’s a must win game along with the rest. Time we beat them and beat them well. Personally I’d concentrate our efforts on both Daicos’s. Make them wish they’d stayed on the far outside, drive Nick so hard into the ground he doesn’t want to get up, make him scared.

I really hope Laurie has a solid 4 quarter game. 19 disposals, 8 tackles, 6 goal assists, 2 goals.

KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
I think the situation is being represented honestly by both Koz and the club. It’s a wait and see scenario that will, in my opinion, see him sign an incredibly lucrative contract with us. I have zero inside information.

I don’t recall Viney sitting out games with concussion or being flattened during games and showing concussed signs. I’m sure he’s had a few though. It’s clearly a concern if he’s still not playing as the incident wasn’t the worst which we’ve seen. Fingers crossed it’s all ok in the coming weeks.

I’d be quite happy for Adams to get a few games.

If Adams is to debut is it May having a rest?- PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Sparrow is having an excellent season. Would be happy to try Sestan ahead of Culley if Sparrow was to be out with a niggle. Almost forgot the exclamation mark AND THE CAPITALS!!- Harry McKay

Yes, I was thinking of Colm’s reply to your post. The Pies may well hit a loading phase. I’m not sure we can afford to overwork and risk dropping games especially considering we’ve got a heavy block of games that include travel.- Changes at AFL HQ
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again and probably again, middle management types who get the plum role. Dillon is out of his depth. Productivity problems aren’t the workers it’s these guys and gals. It’s across the board in Australia. Companies calling on the government for more handouts whilst under investing in their people, all the while paying ridiculous salaries to the few. Drives me nuts.- PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
I’d love Culley to get a game if say Sparrow got a niggle, a patch of games to see how he goes. I don’t like seeing players waste away playing at Casey.- Changes at AFL HQ
So rather than hire a person with the experience and capability to do a job hire 2 people without it and hope for the best. Dillon needs to go.- PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
I think Laurie’s more likely to replace Spargo than Culley. Culley will be there should Petracca, Oliver or perhaps Viney goes down.- Harry McKay

I think he’s referring to Collingwood upping the training not us- AFL Mid-Season Draft 2025
Personally I think we’ve got enough VFL players on our list.- Time to go Goody?
There’s no doubt our game looks quite different from rounds 1-5 as opposed to rounds 6-11 and the data shows that. In rounds 1-5 there was still a lot of long bombs kicked into F50 and a lot of long down the line kicks from HB/wing. There’s a few reasons for the difference imo. First and foremost it’s attack on the contest, which was there in round one but gone in rounds 2-5, it’s now the standard. Second and only marginally less important is the return of our best 22 and the continued improvement of Tracc, Oliver and Viney. Thirdly are the intangibles, belief, confidence and mojo. Belief in the system, the coaches and your teammates, confidence grows from this and for mine mojo is the slight swagger a team gets when belief and confidence grow to a certain point. Think 21 finals series. We haven’t got mojo yet but you’ll see it when we do. Teams don’t win a Flag without it. So yes our game looks completely different but this is a style we’ve been working on since the preseason of 24. Mojo takes time but I think it’s coming. - PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
