  1. I'm potentially the one about to wear egg re. Jefferson. He's certainly taken some solid strides this season but the calls to play him feel very premature.
  2. Would love Waterman but he’ll stay put Im guessing
  3. I say we win the last 8 and hit the finals at speed..............My dream is to beat Collingwood in round 23 and in the first week of the finals. Then roll the Bombers in a semi and Carlton in a Prelim. Then roll the Swans in the GF with Gawn giving Grundy a Masterclass and Oliver winning the Norm Smith.....Seriously folks could footy life get any better than that?
  4. When he shows consistent strong form at Casey, something he hasn’t come even close to doing. apparently he is but I can’t see them rushing him in.
  5. Keeper for mine. Think we're better down back with a fit Salem. It's a bugger his thyroid and body have let him down at times. His first quarter in the 21 GF was sublime.
  6. He damn well better be good, he’s got 21 pages on here!! I have no idea but my hunch he’s a good kid who’s going to give himself every chance to succeed.
  7. Not at all, I’ve listed the young talent and we’re likely headed for another top ender this year. We’ve been unlucky to lose Brayshaw, have Oliver have a down year and then lose Petracca all at the same time. I think we’re going better than many realise and I was leaning toward pessimism at the start of this year.
  8. Doesn’t need to be yet because bar Brayshaw they’re all still playing. On top of that you add Rivers, McVee, Windsor, JVR and potentially another top end draft pick and a good trade period and just maybe we’ve got the bones of the next Flag.
  9. Thats how I felt on Monday but I always manage to find confidence from somewhere by game day. So today we’re within 4 goals.
  10. All fair enough except the last bit. He was excellent in Round 1 against the Dogs and was instrumental in our win against Port with a classic Oliver last quarter. The Swans have proven how good their midfield is so no shame in a below average showing there. Others have alluded to the impact his broken hand may of had. I’m expecting his form to improve as clearly he was poor against North. It’s a big game for many reasons this Friday night.
  11. I’m not entirely opposed to trading him even though I see no way it could happen but this is a truly ridiculous post, perhaps the most ridiculous I have read here and I’ve posted some doozies!
  12. Not a huge Tomlinson fan but I’m with you in playing him forward. What could it hurt? I’ve ummed and arred about Petty as a forward but it seems clear his best footy is in defence. Swap them and see what happens.
  13. I’ve no doubt after what he’s been through retirement would have entered his mind, along with a million other things. Can’t see him retiring at 28. He’ll recover in mind and body and be raring to go on or maybe even before Round 1 2025. I think there’s some reading too much into his first interview. He’s raw, drugged up and probably not sleeping well. He’s a very sound human is Christian, I wish him all the best in his recovery.
  14. Can Oliver just go straight to Neale and hound the F out of him as well as racking up 25 touches himself?
  15. I may be wrong but the swans did't trade any of those players....there are words and the there are actions.
  16. Knowing Melbourne we’ll beat Brisbane and lose to WC at the G
  17. Lever back helps cant drop Windsor Tomlinson likely out I’d like to see AMW get a game…….who goes out? I'm starting to feel my pregame confidence returning.
  18. One things for sure, if we trade him we’ll still be paying part of his contract. I’m open to it but can’t see it happening.
  19. I think May, Gawn and Viney have well and truly maintained their standard and both Rivers and ANB have improved. Fritsch is playing poorly atm but he's an opportunist and lets face it those aren't as common as they were in 21 or 22 and 23 for that matter. I think Pickett continues to improve and really only Salem (injuries?) and Langdon have gone backwards. Oliver has seen the biggest drop off this year but that's for a whole host of non footy related circumstances.
  20. Well I wrote the kid off so hopefully I'm wrong........jeez that's very very rare though 😆
  21. And he’s happy and focused on life and footy
