  1. Stick to your team sheets, they’re easier to ignore.
  2. You’re being overly dramatic
  3. It’s called confidence, they’re running on air we can barely run.
  4. Dee’s in a thriller, lead changes, heroics, stars on show…..the game of the season.
  5. We’re going to have an awful lot of half back flankers.
  6. Brisbane I think
  7. Sure but……there’s several buts that make this a risky deal. I’d be chasing high draft picks before putting big deals in front of NQR’s but that’s me.
  8. For the money and length of contract it would take I’d prefer we chased others. You’re right though, someone’s paying overs for him
  9. I have as well. I think he’ll cost overs. I’m all for the 2 top 10 picks. I’m guessing future firsts and a solid player will be required to snare the second of those, don’t see a player on our list to pull that off.
  10. So you want Houston and 2 top 10 picks this year? That sounds great to me, can you run through how we’re pulling that off?
  11. I’d take JVR, Fritsch and Petty(and he’s a backmen) ahead of Waterman. If he’s chasing a 5 year deal at 900,000 tell him he’s dreaming. My feel is he’s trying to extract more from WC but we’ll see
  12. You mean Waterman and his manager are. This clown has been injured, sick or ordinary bar 10 games of his career. He now wants more money. No [censored] policy may be required here.
  13. Of course I’d take the flag but we don’t know that. what we do know Tasmania are about to raid the draft, making the next few years so important. Kalani White may well go to the GCS, for mine that feels the most likely but I’ve no idea. Our top pick (pick 8-12ish) surely needs to go to the best young mid with clean skills and a bit of pace. We all know where our midfield rates currently. If we could get Houston for a future first and a pack of chips I’d be less concerned. 2 first round picks is simply overs for a 28 year old.
  14. Bad luck for the kid….Sparrow likely in and maybe Woewodin to the wing??
  15. I reckon I could pick a winner with a top 5 pick, it’s picks 6-30 where the magic needs to happen.
  16. Still way overs for a 28 year old HBF. As much as I like what Houston would bring next year I can’t see it not biting us if we are forced to overpay.
  17. You need to watch the game again.
  18. It was reported in the media (The Age) last week. He's starting light running which he's very excited about. When asked will he be back for the later finals if Melbourne were in it he said he's strictly no contact for 3 - 4 months. (Which I took as meaning if we're in the GF he'll play out of the square and kick 6)
  19. I think you meant c***
  20. Calm the farm........Take a look at our close losses and our draw. Add in the loss of Gus, Petracca and the down year of Oliver. I'm not surprised by where we sit but let's stick to the facts as to why we sit there. I was a Goodwin knocker for awhile there but that came more out of the frustration of last years finals....Bugger....There I go again, bringing up those damn games and a weak pies flag that should be ours.
  21. Has he earned a recall? If we have decided to move him out at years end I'd be giving him his 200th V The Power IF we're out of contention. I don't see his form warranting a selection ahead of Sparrow or Tholstrup at this point.
  22. I can't argue with that
  23. I picked the crowd of 16,000 and I wasn't one of them so I feel that evens out the good and bad. I'd still like some sort of prize though.
  24. The debate about where we finish is moot. The players and coaches will be giving it everything to win and keep winning. We can argue what's best but it won't change that fact. Personally I think the Hawks have that '87 Demons vibe about them and will keep on winning...even saying that makes me vomit a little in my mouth. I'm loving the Dogs atm as well. For those who think we're best off admitting defeat how say you if we roll the Dogs and Suns? I look at our fixture and above all else I want this team to smash the Pies, that will do me as I think we're better set for next year than we were for this year once we lost Gus.
