If i was Norf i wouldnt trade 2,3 to anybody. Bring in McKercher and Duursma or Watson. Cats are really the only ones that would benefit with more picks given their list profile. So Pick 8 for 11 & F1. Its a lot for us to give up to move 3 spots - If we were to finish 1st, then points equivalent is Pick 3. So it maybe something more like Pick 8 and F2 for 11 & F1. Really depends on if Cats are targeting a specific player in the draft. I have a feeling top 10 picks are set. Don't expect anymore movement now.

Here’s a scenario. I’m not this is possible? WCE take Reid with Pick 1. If Curtain is available at Pick 6, they the trade Reid to us for 6,11 and F1/2? Can you trade players live in the draft? I presume Reid is contracted at the time of being picked and hence available for trade?

Any trade with 2&3 would be outright insane. You just would not do it today, tomorrow or ever. Some of us obviously want the trade to happen but in the context of WC, I think their connection to Curtin is a bit overblown. I think we all agree that they are approaching rock bottom and they need talent. If you can turn 1 pick into 2-3 then it is logical to do it. They’ll have pick 1 again next year and possibly the year after so they can really be aggressive in restocking talent quickly and maybe use pick 1 at a later time to target the superstar once their list turnover has stabilised. Doing it the other way around is a bit unbalanced but that is my view.

GWS traded 3,12 and F2 last year for it last year to get Cadman.

This has been a very unsettling trade period for a number of reasons.

So if Adelaide come knocking. What are we accepting now that we have McAdam? 10,14, F2? 6,10,F2 to WCE for Pick 1. Take Reid with (1), O'Sullivan (11/14) Trade 11/14 for a F1 to be used with existing F1 to chase big forward end of next year.

Next years. I would take it in the blink of an eye. WCE are wooden spooners for at least the next two years.

You can also add Rowell to that list. I don’t think they’ll get Reid wrong though. I can’t recall the anticipation of his abilities being so high. 6,11 and F2 I think is the right weight. F1 only goes in the table if we get WC F2 coming back our way.

He is worth more, however not when he requests a trade back home to a Victorian club. If Oliver was only worth 10 + 14 and McAdam, then Butters for 11 and Petty is pretty close in trade value.
