  1. And that is why WCE are sweating. If they go Reid, Norf will 100% go Curtin. So if WCE do take Curtin, can we entice Norf to split their pick to 4,5 with their 2nd rounder or future 2nd rounder coming back to us? It will also depend on what compensation they get from the AFL for McKay as well. If they get pick 3 for example, they are not going to entertain a swap with us unless they can use one of those picks to trade for a mature, contracted player, which is highly unlikely.
  2. See, you would have benefited from a title change. 😂
  3. We just have to win this game now and allow Fritta more time to heal post game.
  4. Also suggest we update the title when we know because every time i see it pop up the top of the threads i have to relive 10 seconds of hell thinking the worst news has come to light every single time.

If going by what Goody said last night on 360 (that our players are mighty fresh and fit), then its really a hard choice as anyone of them can go nuts. For me if i could chose, anyone of ANB, Kozzy or Chin. Reason being, when any one of them fire it means our a forward half game is on and that usually means a W.
  6. Norf will be silly to do that trade. Make WC sweat and call out Curtin. I think we should instead make a play for NOrf's 2nd pick Pick 2 for 5 and 15. is a fair trade. Norf end up getting Watson with 3, McKercher with 5, Sanders with 15 with NGA. We can also throw in Tommo to give them KPD stock for 2024 to sweeten the deal. We either get Curtin or Reid.
  7. Presumably we will dominate the MCC 70/30. Assume equal allocation of club members to both sides and if they take the 80/20 of AFL reserve, then it should be a pretty balanced turnout.
  8. well i figured it out in the end. rookie error by me. Trying to buy two tickets - separated barcodes by hitting 'enter' and not spacing them out. re-read email, it was there but in the heat of the moment, did see the fine print. Q50 BB. would have been E or F if i had worked it out earlier.
  9. what do you mean? i have a junior membership for son and i have to purchase separately and cannot find a way to group it together with me. The one time i had a side by side allocation, the thing timed out and i had to start again.
  10. seriously what a [censored] system. how can i sit next to my son ?
  11. Waiting for 20 mins now in two devices.
  12. presumably after. But i couldnt tell you.
  13. It has been mentioned he is fine. So this has to be precautionary.
  14. 2 players for what is arguably a team finishing 2nd on the ladder. Please, the disrespect that we continue to get from the media is an absolute farce. I hope there are some sore ego's from this and that they'll show the selector's how wrong they were in the coming weeks. Also, what is the love for the bottom sides? Bar a handful of standout performances (Larkey). As a general rule if you are bottom 6, "Thank you, come again (next year)". Im surprised Buckley just didn't name the entire CFC. Quaynor and Nick Daicos are the only ones deserving of the AA.
  15. Hey WCW, i dont want to crash this thread, but do know the extent of Fritta's foot/ankle injury? without going into details has the collective MFC dodged a bullet?
  16. Yeah that is really a peculiar outcome. I would have thought they had significant influence on the decision to host it on Thursday night. And really the only factors would be how to maximise crowd advantage and recovery. The other not so obvious factor would be for the additional recovery for the team that loses and will likely play on Friday night the following week. Also why does the loser of 1v4 play winner of 5v8 ? I would have thought that bracket should be playing the winner 6v7, given.
  17. on the Thursday night aspect? I think it is well known that we don't have enough die hard supporters willing to turn up on a Thursday night. I wouldn't be surprised if this is what Collingwood actually wanted to get the crowd advantage. We just have to turn up. It is that simple.
  18. That is an interesting way to think of it. The problem from his perspective is that none of those 3 are permanent fixtures in the 22. I'd think there are better players gettable that would fetch the amount covered by those 3 combined (or less)
  19. Where would he fit in? I feel he is an inferior version of Oliver, so why would we even bother? I'd rather move Rivers into more midfield rotation and backfill a HB role.
  20. Has anyone got word on Fritsch's foot following yesterday's incident? It is positive that he was able to run out the game, but was it a foot or ankle injury? No doubt he will be getting scans today to get an accurate picture of the damage done.
  21. I know there are many ways to measure the difficulty of the draw but if we go by the teams we played and the amount of wins they have had , I think you’ll find it was one of the easier draws compared to the other teams.
  22. Only a grand?
  23. Do we go Grundy or TMac? What is our starting forward line?
  24. I think so too. He does seem to have bit or poise about him. We can’t have too many small forwards. I hope we run him through a bit more in the team next year.
  25. Goody reckons ACL.
