These are the same as posted on April 26 earlier this year!
  3. Perhaps check up with Club but $10 entry nnmntickets may need to be purchased unless you have an AFLW season ticket at $30 if you are an AFL Membership ticket holder. Otherwise I think an AFLW membership ticket for the season is $60. Look up under membership and the AFLW section first for advice. Good Luck and enjoy the game.
  4. Congratulations to all at the MFC Board, Players (AFL, VFL and AFLW) and every fan on this magnificent achievement. The Strategic Plan aims at 75,000 so we are that close. If we can win our 14th Flag this year it's totally on the cards that we can get to 75/80,000 in the near future. Heady and even more exciting days. What we need is the extra 5/10,000 each game especially our lower profiled games vs GWS Suns Freo and North to consolidate this growth. Our 50,000 average home MCG should be smashed next year and all those reserved seats for sale in the Ponsford Stand will be gone also. Mubb B h to Perty,s drlight. Big month of September starting tomorrow night with the fantastic record winning AFLW premiership team in the spotlight opening their defence of that great flag just under a year ago. Strength in numbers Dees there are still some fans to join and be rewarded by our major role and that is to continue to play consistent strong tough and exciting footy that makes us so proud of.our Club. Go you mighty Dees. Onwards and Upwards. Play with that Demon Spirit and be Possessed!!

Yes was at both and enjoyed them a lot. Guess the semi in 88 as it put us into another Prelim Final.
  6. These sessions are always conducted on the Clubs terms. It's about reward for the fans and if you are a player this can be so uplifting. I will never forget the training runs before the '87 and then the '88 Grand Final especially. Bring them on I say. Go Dees. PS Great photo autograph and merch opportunities for all.

Why ET better than a pick 47 who can't make it. He may never have the skills. History might show a No 7 has some very good attributes but for various reasons isn't comfortable in the environment. He may be squeezed out with the midfielders "club" of say Rowell Anderson Miller etc. for example we don't know. There is no right or wrong with recruiting unless some issues arise from history and are not changeable. We have shown we are a very good Club with a great culture and taking a chance on a talented youngster who May have an ego is hardly like a much injured player with a fitness issue. Both are solvable and we can't have too many "problem child's" I agree. if he fits a need on our list ( not sure of his physique or body details) but he started off kicking goals from half forward I seem to recall. He may be happier here in Melbourne with his brother and possibly his family. A player is not a No 7 for nothing so keep an open mind and it's up to JT and Lambie to check out I say.

This year if Goody had Bedford I think he would have handled him differently and shown perhaps some more patience. It was the same with Chin he would always be the first dropped. And Toby did not play in a role as strictly as he is at GWS I don't feel. It just shows that a change of Clubs and another pre season plus natural maturity can make a difference to One's form and output. Really we have Chin who has made it his time after 2/3 years and GWS have Toby so it is a win win situation and the jury is still out about the winner at this stage. May be years before we know any winner if at all.

We met in 1989 it has been mentioned but it certainly was in a semi in 1988 at the G which we won.

Tmac only change for Melky or if defender needed then Hibbo if passes fitness test.

Am I a bit star struck that Bailey plays a little like Sam Michell. Lacks a bit of pace but has skill and poise to use ball well. Will be great op forward also an on baller or centre of the future. Think he kicked a long left footer (opposite foot) near to the front of goal in the last quarter, correct me if I am wrong. That's priceless in traffic or on the run. Should be in 23 for next Thursday as sub even in front of JJ.
  14. I presume you are talking sbiut in the MCC Reserve. If this is so why don't you try the MFC ticket sale if you are eligible. May not guarantee Level 1 but more choice possibly. Hope you got a ticket in the MCC Reserve higher up.
  15. 58er replied to SPC's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
    Apologies Chin !!!
  16. MCC has already sold out its allocation and wslk up on day now is the rest in that Reserve. Should all be taken on the night.
  17. Safe travels and hope we win over the 3 weeks!!

Could be anyone of about 10/12 of our players May Lever McVee Rivers Viney Lingers Kossie Clarry Gus Trac Gawny ANB ( his recent form and minimal errors have him in best ever status) Fritta Tmac and Sparrow. Sorry JVR Hunter Bowser Joel Bill L Hibbo Disco Tommo Spargo. Broody etc. No wonder we are one of the favourites with this team all in pretty good form and bl..dy determined. They look mighty hungry also.
  19. Thanks FTB.
  20. Obviously you are forgetting our injury and health status in 2022 which was the major factor in our demise. We are a 3/4 goal better team healthy and fit with some options even if injuries occur. Our situation is more like 2021 than 2022 and I expect we will be very hard to beat in any Final we play in especially if we stay at the G for all games. Don't rule us out at Gabba or Adelaide Oval should we have to win a prelim there either. This team as Sunday proved doesn't like losing and the combined losing average margin vs Top8 teams in 2023 is 4.5 points!!! Ironically we lost to Bombers by 27, Cats by 15 and Freo 7 pts averaging 16.3 and those teams are just waking up very sore and sorry from Mad Monday.
  21. That's partly because your numbers are not adding up. Your estimates are obviously wrong. Fear the Beard knows very closely the numbers snd from a previous post 23,000 is AFL members I think. Others Will know the figures of MCC and approx balance, then you can try to correctly estimate the figures.
  22. It as a bruise free game come on, a 100pt thrashing hardly raised a sweat. Very few would be tired.
  23. Great to see you are going OD and got your tickets. I nearly missed but had a reprieve I reckon when I went back in and put another barcode in as I had 3 barcodes and only wanted one ticket. Am in M35-1 GG 9. Not sure where it is but don't care. Hope we win as it will save coming up here to Gabba and play the fairly confident Lions. Hope we win and stay at the G just what our fans want. Each week I am seeing signs we can salute this year. Toughness is unbelievable and we have some 2021 traits back. Hope Tmac is selected to replace the unlucky Melky. Go Dees.
  24. I qualified it as a priority 3 and that is how it was promoted!
