About 25/30 I bet.

With great respect your comparison of Kynan to the Lizard of the Swans really ends with being a left foot kick. Blakey looks like a beautiful gliding Rolls Royce vehicle across the turf and Kynan a small medium Cortina, however no less effective in his highlights. The weapon Kynan appears to have is his tenacity tackling and speed to break away and to dispose purposely. Could well be a great addition to our midfield and like the fact that he is a leftie. All the best Kynan just be yourself and we know you will get the very best out of yourself.

Fullarton USA ruckman who tests up forward and can play in a key position. To say he is not a ruckman is incorrect. He has been for Lions and is regarded with some ability. He would be our first choice if Max is injured with Schache or Verrall second and third. We are not as lightning as you have stated so rest easy Deanox.
-
Fullarton definitely deserves an opportunity to display his craft on the ruck at Casey.

What’s stopping Disco is the lack of consistent games in a row. Goody gives him one game and drops him after he did everything right vs the Swans.

About 7 points worth and a thug as well!!!

Won’t know about that for about3/4 years just like the Kelly trade off! I am happy but really this draft was much deeper than most if you believe Montagna Ablett and Shifter!! Still raving about depth into the 60’s draft no’s!!

From every acorn ( Even Mark Neeld) a big oak tree has grown. Thank you MN.

Where is Lingers at his best in this search for a winger? Wasn’t his best in2023 hasn’t been since his ribs were smashed in 2022 I think. May he return to his prime in 2024 with the lure of Caleb on the opposite pastures of the MCG once he establishes himself in the AFL. With the inevitable question of how long will it be before Caleb makes his debut I think it’s super important that we realise both our Nos 7 and 13 are first rounders in the Dogga and Kossie tradition. Not ordinary young tyros but in the best dozen in the land! Remember Riv was recruited in the 30’s and he took about 4/5 rounds to show his mettle and he has ever since. The other very promising and powerful statement is from the young Caleb about his best moment being drafted and aims are to debut and play in a premiership no less. One doesn’t imagine he wishes to hang around for a decade of years to achieve this. Yes you say all 80/100 draftees are in the same frame of mind at this time but don’t choose to shout it from the rooftops. After all actions speak louder than words. I just have the feeling that he is a young man in a real hurry to achieve and has the confidence to clarify it at the earliest possible time. As a result his ride may be one of the best to witness yet so don’t hang around waiting get your front row seat to all the thrills as the “Duke of Windsor” climbs aboard his coach to propel his desire to be a King at the top of his game in the greatest of games the AFL and biggest of stages the grand Final. Lofty but achievable yes it is just ask our 2019 draftees LJ Kossie and Riv. They didn’t waste much time to be precise, a mere 2 seasons to become champions and immortals. That’s your challenge young Caleb. All the very best and don’t forget to get your draft mate Kolt from WA ( like LJ ) alongside with you in this feat.

Let’s hope we are the beneficiaries Danny with Caleb being like our great Robbie Flower a little as a couple of sharp judges have suggested. Go Dees !!

A half glass empty expert? How to look at with a closed and defensive outlook who mentioned everything as worst possible scenario. Even if I agreed with some of these comments we have the solutions by the players we have picked in the trades and draft this season. Given JT and TL’s record it may be this year or next but along with some developing Casey and younger players already in the team the future is very promising when you look at our overall list. Dino you seem to overlook the possibility that Adams Howes AMW Ruiy McVee Chandler Disco Sparrow Petty Kossie Jefferson Fullarton plus Billing’s and McAdam even Clarry and Trac if the majority improve by 3/5% we would/could win the flag in 2024. We are right in the flag race and I like our 2 National draft selections which directly are to address our connection, pace and forward issues. They may not early do that but who knows after pre season and plenty of game time we may be surprised. We have already seen how Dogga Kossie and Riv had an effect in 2 seasons and this 2024 version is goals better than our 2020 outfit to form a base on.

Depends what you call class and Caleb’s got it. Smooth running long kick goal scoring and great link man on the wing. I’ll back JT’s judgement against yours Danny any day or night at the G!
-
We have gone totally for needs. We have some talls and Jefferson to add in time. Windsor brings us a total outside running machine on the Lingers style up and back but is more highly skilled and will kick more goals. Kolt is an X factor half forward and potential mid who will excite fans and annoy and embarrass the opposition. Total fan favourite with a swagger and style. Let the MCC members get out of their seats once this dynamo gets among the big boys on the G. Both are 185cm plus but seem taller in their highlights. Neither will take a backward step it looks like from their tapes either. Bring them on as excitement machines to end our mundane forward thrusts. Well done again JT.

If I was a winger or half forward at the Dees I would be very nervous about my spot in the 23. Caleb Windsor and Kolt Tholstrup look by highlights and footy info a whole new standard of ( other than Kossie and Lingers ) for our team. Caleb an all day runner and ball carrier plus goal finisher who will light up the other wing at the G and Kolt a totally X factor half forward/ mid in time with a license to excite annoy and embarrass the opposition. Like the idea of Kolt crashing the blokes that Rooy has missed. Bit more weight on both and they will be cherry ripe for the fight. No more boring connections or forward thrusts! Two more gems in the Jason Taylor tradition!

GC have special AFL sanction to take their players in the top 40. If they have the points . Think all Northern Acadamies ( NSW and QLD) have these AFL loopholes.
-
Completely wrong take. Kid is Exact opposite and he lives 500kms from Perth.
-
Have you watched his high lights ? We need his skill and power and is a needs pick. Is a ripper guy and a real live wire according to the experts and he will be a great Clubman also.
-
DO Don’t know if you realise Esperance is about 500kms from Perth? So who would do the camera work other than the great shots we have got from the Perth 7 news. Via someone in the family also has or Ch 7.
-
Too much theory. Each player has strengths with which we can prosper. It’s up to us to develop and train both and all our young talents on the plan that we play. Both have a great opportunity. Must say I think we should have picked Curtin then Windsor. Good KP players are hard to find. We could be bluffing of course.
-
That’s not correct. We won the flag in 2022. So your post isn't even correct for 2022.
-
No it’s never wasted but disappointing as we could have done better.
-
JT our whipping boy Jimmy Toumpas. Just emphasises what a stupid and negative idea this is from the FD.
-
I hope we don’t get this opportunity to try such a scatterbrained idea. Dangerous Trac doing this even once let alone multiple times per match.
-
Tommo hasn’t got the run he had with GWS That is 5 years (seasons) ago now. So does Tommo rest forward or back or I/Change? Not going to happen. I am happy for JVR to continue his cameo role as forward ruck. Gets him in the game more and he is not the worst competitor on the forward line.
-
It’s such a shame you are so negative. Many posters post as if these 18yo future players should be the finished product. Hoe long did it take for Trac to really establish his position in t he top 5 players? About 3/4 years. 2020 was his breakout year culminating in his Norm Smith medal as his greatest game and highlight. Other than his kicking for goal and occasionally passing he has maintained his very high standards over the next 2 years. Your dissection and total brutal exploration of Curtin is exactly what recruiters should not do. List all the negatives and ignore and undervalue other experts assessment of a player s skills against his own age, which is generally the really best guide ( other than Colts or maybe SANFL standard comps around Australia. And he is 197cm listed and you don’t believe he is tall enough for a KP defender! How tall do you want? The great Stephan May is only about 193cm and he goes pretty well!! You are also looking at Curtin being a mid primarily. My goodness Jacko was a revelation so if Curtin is as good we have a player of A grade potential on the ball and/or as a KP prospect extraordinaire. All under age talents ( except for maybe Clarry Nick D and the Bont ) need time to develop physically and mentally and we must be patient. JT and TL will do their best and I look forward to supporting our choices along with the new trades Billing’s McAdam and Fullarton in their Demon journeys to assist our existing stars to get our 14th Flag. Bring on 2024.
