Jeffo needs a larger body too. Definitely some positive signs in terms of forward half movement and marks. Just needs to nab a few more goals and the year on a high. And hit the ground (and weight room) running hard in 2026.

It is improving a little over the course of the season, but still too many floated ball and not enough driven one. Invites pressure/trouble especially on a quick transition.

Almost 50 days since our last win, we get up and snap a 5 game losing streak but now we have 4 new pages largely writing off a young player playing his 17th game for the club. Wasn't the greatest performance by any means but we're not doing anything this season, give him some time and a proper pre-season before you get the swords out.

I see Charlie Comben is back for North, we kicked it to him 4124 times earlier in the season. Hopefully they avoid this tactic this time.

There isn't a lot of future playing TC but playing him may increase team performance - which in turn would benefit the younger generation.

Has polled Coaches votes in 2 games as well. Agreee he's playing the role he's asked -but if results aren't going your looks very ineffective

a lot of people have Salo in their crosshairs on here. Obviously last month haven't been able to really study him in detail, so will keep an eye on him in particular this week.

i know its an obvious thing to say, but i was listening to the radio today and Jason McCartney (GWS Giants' List Manager) was talking about Aaron Cadman and saying how much of a luxury it was for his development to be playing alongside Jesse Hogan ( a mature forward etc). Mentioned how they didnt need to rush him etc and he could develop at his own pace. A real stark juxtaposition.

He's an assistant coach at Collingwood now as well. So perhaps its being paid a variety of ways.

All this soccer talk had me thinking, what would my MFC team be. I'm a sucker for a 4-2-3-1 formation. Striker - Melksham CAM - Petracca - had to include him. Wingers - Langdon and Kozzy (inverted role) Double Pivot - Salem and Rivers Defence: I;d probaly play Xavier Lindsay and Jake Bowey as my wingbacks. Disco Turner would be a CB but not sure May has the mobility - so probably throw H back there too. GK: Lever. Gawn probably the better choice for Height but want better delivery from the back.

He’s clearly got talent, but hasn’t played more than 15 games in a season. I know players can be unlucky but we rolled the dice with McAdam and that hasn’t worked well (so far). You wouldn’t want to give up much for this either way

Re: Langford - was wondering this morning if there was anyone we could peel away from Essendon given the supposed angst some of them have at the club at present

Pretty sure 4th umpire on field came in in 2023. Either way we have had 7 more charges than 2024 and there's still 8 more rounds of the season and finals to come.
