2020 NATIONAL DRAFT ORDER AND SELECTIONS
don't think he'll slide too far down given this
-
CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Hopefully Preuss eats some people. FC PREUSS LIVES ON Hoping he has worked on his marking though, had some clangers last year.

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
at times like this I wish the AFL added an extra interchange option instead of having shorter games. Would be easier to bring in Preuss that way. Have enough pinch-hitting options though, curious to see who we go with

Kozzy Rd 11 Rising Star Nomination
As the old saying goes, you wait ages for a bus and then two come along at once

Ed Langdon Unsung Hero
wears a longsleeve - tick

How the Reserves are Tracking
Agreed. Think Hunt should be retained due to versatility and that he can offer something going forward.

The 2020 Trade Period
Several clubs need a big man, surely we can do better than that.
-
What they're saying down at Arden Street
Must hold some of our early 2010s team in high regard.

Has There Been A Better Recruit This Year Than Langdon?
Very impressed with Langdon, his kicking a little iffy but they knew that when the traded for him. His running and involvement has been fantastic recently. Early signs but looks like Footy Department had a good year bringing in the Trades/Draftees
-
Jason Taylor
Preuss trade not the worst move IMO. With no Hogan/Pedersen they probably didn't want play Tmac/Weid in the ruck in event that Maxy went down. Either way, now we have some decent trade bait as several teams could do with him. Tyson no big loss given similar players.

CHANGES: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
Round 5 Headline: Round 5 Injury Update | Preuss ready to return Get up to date with Melbourne’s injury news ahead of Round 5 By Ben Gibson on Jun 30, 2020, 1:18pm Braydon Preuss, who has been sidelined with an Achilles injury, will look to get some minutes under his belt in the club’s practice match, as he takes to the field for the first time since returning from isolation. LJ, Tmac, Weid, Preuss - even Tomlinson - have the options to replace. Good thing we're playing the bottom 2 sides. As mentioned above, may offer some good unpredictability
-
The Need for Outside Midfielders
Ok, so Tomlinson was signed to run up and down the MCG on the wing. I think the selection committee has taken this too literal, as we are now no longer playing at the G and he isn't being selected.

2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
I wonder what will happen at GC if lists are cut given their assistance package allowed for additional rookies etc.
-
Fierce Moment of the Week
Let's just enjoy these Jaguar Fierce moments of the week as I don't envisage them returning next year
-
No plan B?
I did enjoy watching Bedford and Pickett in Round 1 (despite the scoreline), wouldn't mind seeing that again.
-
Angus Brayshaw
I think Brayshaw will be traded simply because he is in my favourite player list. I've already had to remove Frosty. Question marks remain over Hunt and Helmet. Soon the only one left will be Fritzl

The Oscar McDonald Appreciation Thread
Agreed Oscar is far from the Problem, But for the most everyone was poor last night, which has lead to the bumping of the usual threads/arguments. at the end of the day, people want to blame/point fingers after losses but with the performance last night you'll need more hands/fingers to point blame at the players/coaching staff who were below par.

GAMEDAY: Rd 09 vs Port Adelaide
maybe doing some light work such as swimming, If i recall correctly that's one of the things he likes.

AFL Rich List: 1-50
1. Daniel Rich
-
CHANGES: Rd 09 vs Port Adelaide
Yeh, perhaps he should have been rested against Brisbane as suggested above. Either way I trust Burgo and Co on this. It's nice having some faith in the medical team
-
CHANGES: Rd 09 vs Port Adelaide
Dees Fixtures 30/7 vs Port (1st) 5/8 vs Adelaide (18th) 9/8 vs North Melbourne (17th) 15/8 vs Collingwood (8th) Think Bennell needs to be managed during this period. But a bit curious he is rested against 1st place when we have 2 "easier" fixtures following.

Pickett Fined for Rough Tackle
the "dangerous tackle"/"spear tackle" was more of a hit/bump anyway Love the aggression from Kozzie, even if he's given away a few free kicks (inc some downfield ones)
-
Umpiring
Yet 2/3 of them resulted in free kicks!
-
Umpiring
This is the first "dangerous tackle" if that's the one you're referring to. Didn't help we didn't get a replay of it. Grabbed from twitter, someone with better skills can note the time and put a better quality version in here aha
