I was a little worried Kalani might sway towards the GC Suns through the academy due to his mates etc, but have enjoyed watching the White family celebrations has put that on ease a little (for now), hopefully we have a good few years and it's an obvious choice for him.

Tmac also involved early in this sequence too. Salem kicks out of defence to a Gawn/Keath contest and the ball goes over them both and Tmac is there for an easy mark. He then kicks it to Brown who can't quite grab it but gets the free for HTB with ~70 seconds left - Brown bombs it in and then the rest is history.

It was definitely strange the way the finals unfolded. The club has been through so much struggle, and I always envisaged we'd break the drought with a tight victory. But we relatively cruised through the 3 finals with a 190 point combined winning margin. I was nervous and worried in the 3rd quarter of the GF but we just blew them away and I just let it all sink in. I always thought I'd cry happy tears but i did not, guess it may have been different if I was there.

also just a Disclaimer: I only have 1 close mate that goes for Melbourne and he lives regionally so I go to most games by myself (or with opposition fans). Obviously those with family connections will be more disheartened than me than having to watch alone or without friend/family etc. I also would not have gone to the parade, as I do not care for that kind of thing.
