my concern with this @Maldonboy38is Burgo is meant to be one of the best in the business. We've had Burgo for a year and i'm not sure if he's signed on for further years. He hasn't been able to rectify whatever the problem is with Tom (if there is one).

Preuss would be nice cover, but also could be a good trade for us. Much better currency than Tyson would have had. as @Lucifer's Hero points out Tmac may be on way out. Tomlinson only 1cm shorter, Mitch Brown a few cm taller. Not ideal options but hopefully Jacko has a big pre-season

Hopefully the club reach out and congratulate him both publically and privately on his career. Now he can focus on his true passions as per those leaked messages.
  5. Imagine Brown will go to Hawthorn so he can continue killing us down in Tasmania

A total of 15 sides have been represented in the 40-man squad, with Adelaide, Gold Coast and North Melbourne the only teams not to have a single player named. Gawn and Nic Naitanui are vying for the ruck position, with dual All-Australian ruckman Brodie Grundy and Kangaroos veteran Todd Goldstein both controversially left out of the squad. Melbourne defender Steven May, Essendon speedster Adam Saad, Sydney midfielder Luke Parker and Gold Coast backman Sam Collins are also notable absentees from the 40-man group.

Saw someone liken him to Pedo, think a player like him is needed given question marks over Smith, Tmac, Petty etc

I googled "2020 Melbourne Demons Squad" Google popped up with the following Players Daniel Cross, Harley Bennell, Jimmy Toumpas, Max Gawn, Jayden Hunt, Luke Jackson, Clayton Oliver, Aidan Riley, Dean Kent, Max King, Bernie Vince, Christian Petracca, Alex Neal-Bullen, Rohan Bail, Neville Jetta, Jake Spencer, Nathan Jones. Looks like we have more work cut out for us at the trade table

I was impressed with his tenacity in his one game in 2019. Agreed lack of VFL has hurt him this year. Wouldn't rule him out just yet but all depends on list sizes and the like.
  13. Wonder if that’s enough to get Trent the nom. Brown/Hunt played for their Futures today. Happy with both of their performances

  15. 'It's been a big day for me': Smith wants change after $1.4m concussion payout https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/it-s-been-a-big-day-for-me-smith-wants-change-after-1-4m-concussion-payout-20200918-p55wvl.html
  16. Former Melbourne and Geelong speedster Blease, 29, retired in 2015 following a concussion suffered while playing for the Cats’ VFL team.
  17. At the end of the day another nomination would have been nice, but i'm just thrilled we have Trent on board. What a future he has (hopefully all at this club!)

Posted in the other thread (so many threads atm). But Zak Jones is out this week which will help us too.

Zak Jones will miss Friday night’s clash with the Giants with a hamstring injury. The St Kilda midfielder reported soreness following the Round 17 clash against the West Coast Eagles, with subsequent scans revealing a minor strain. https://www.saints.com.au/news/813616

Yeh some weird cuts and other times I’ve yelled ‘zoom out’ at the tv lol
  21. Noticed it on the replay, fair whack to the back/side of the head. Surprising no fine for the whack he gave Oliver too. Mumford continually came in late with force .

Even if they are difficult to deal with, think past dealings with Hib/Melk were favorable to both parties so potentially good relationship between the clubs

Decided to check how Kossie ranks compared to other MFC players Yes there are some areas he can improve on, but the below not bad for a first year player IMO Contested Possessions - 10th Ground ball Gets - 8th F50 - Ground ball gets - 5th Shots at goal - 5th Score involvements - 11th Tackles - 7th Tackles inside 50 - 2nd Goal assists - 5th Pressure Acts - 6th Now are these stats supporting of Kossie or an indictment on some of the other players aha.
  24. Brown will be hungry to prove a point against the Bombers. Liked his efforts in recent weeks. When is the next injury report from Burgo due
