  1. Assume they'll try say it was low impact and not medium impact? When we appealed for Kozzie the tribunal concluded that the contact had the potential to cause injury, surely the same logic should apply for a dangerous tackle?
  2. I’d like to think they got to our level of fatigue aha. Junk time goals helping the % at least
  3. Hopefully I walk into the yarra after that performance. At least stress free weekend
  4. Not sure if it was 3 games in 12 days or bringing too many sore bodies in but still slightly funny the media have wrote us off in pre season and then suddenly got back on us and we produce that filth. oh well; not sure the worst score line given the first 3 quarters.
  5. Media getting ready to get stuck in
  6. Newspaper headline on Friday KOLT HERO

Would it have looked too odd if the Shrine was centered?

Liverpool should sell all their assets and fold tbh. Knocked out of the fa cup by us AND dropped points in the league against us. We are absolute cabbage.

Worth rolling the dice at the tribunal - but 1 game seems about right in the current scheme of things of how 2024 being adjudicated.
  10. 2 goals, 30 disposals, 7 tackles, seeing we lost it may not be as high on the list but should at least get 1 vote hopefully. Something like the below 3 - Heeney 2 - Grundy 1 - Viney
  11. Can you get away with having a player who won't stick all his tackles if he's bringing other positives to the team? Do we have enough bulls to cover that or is it all hands on deck?
  12. It's a great time of year, before the season started David King said we'd miss the top 8 and then after a good pre-season game changed his tune and i think he said top 4.
  13. Ive seen people on social media calling for him to be dropped. Seemingly forgotten the Port game so soon. Even with his minimal involvement against Adelaide he helped the team. Body positioning helped a few team mates clutch marks, something that Schache can't seem to bring to the table. Also had a rundown tackle in the F50!

Obviously the optics of it not great, but overall (not this specific instance) still find it funny you can punch a bloke in the stomach off the ball and get a lesser punishment than a clumsy football action.
  15. Speaking of, Rick had a great punch last night, gave it some real violence.
  16. we'll be reading shortly that the sickness has a strong case of Jack Viney

Funny trade looking back at it. We sent out Pick 10, 2018 First Round and 2018 Fourth Round and in return we got Jake Lever, Pick 35 and 2018 Third Round Pick. With Pick 35 we chose Harrison Petty. IIRC Adelaide used those picks for Bryce Gibbs which didn't exactly work wonders for them, whereas Petty/Lever helped us win a flag and now they're going to need to offer us some decent picks if they want to get Petty.
  18. He won't get it this week - and i assume the flashier players will get nominated first. But Howes and the Duke will get nominated after prolonged quality (but maybe not flashy)- spells

I feel sorry for Jayden Hunt. So close to winning a flag now losing every week
  20. Echo a lot of the thoughts here, hasn't really shown it at senior level yet and still some question marks about his best position. Granted he hasn't had a consistent and solid run to show form, not sure he'll be getting that anytime soon. Has improved his engine but still uncertain on his weapons. At worst it is some versatile depth. Let's hope he proves the doubters wrong

Didn't he cop a a kick to the hand against the Doggies? Or someone this season, it's already a blur.
  22. Takes a brave opponent to target Steven May!

I'm sure we'd be rattling some tins if there was a location, would be hard pressed to find people wanting to donate large sums for more feasibility studies i reckon.
  24. I'm usually against key position players being subs as they don't give you a lot of flexibility if there is an injury. This year however, I am slightly changing my tune. We're already quite flexible on field with running Salem/Pickett through the middle - Sparrow didn't attend a bounce last week. Billings can play a few different positions. Can throw Howes on a wing or Trac up forward etc. Petty would be a good sub as could cover either end (although i'm sure theyd want him up front) and they could bring him on so he doesn't need to play a full game. I know the last few games against the Hawks have been close but hopefully we can build a solid lead and make the sub (hopefully no injury and either a young fella needing a rest or managing BBB)

Yeh definitely kicked away at the end, wondered how the game would have played out if they had kicked this. (Praise be to the duke).
