he is so close to being a gun forward does all the right things, just isn't striking them as well as we know he can. then watch out. also think his tackle pressure has improved a lot since last season

    swing and a miss HFF
  3. is the tattoo for his mum?
  4. bit stiff to have jetta in there, u can't just go by bottom 6 for disposals coz thats not his job, thought he was fantastic on butler and co, they didn't get a sniff once ball hit ground. hunt will be turning in his sleep with hibbo breathing down his neck
  5. if this news is on the money it changes things slightly imo Chandler in to the 22 alongside Viney OUT: Harmes (wrist/nose), Sparrow we already had a glut of inside mids so we can afford to go 2 out and bring some spark into our side. Melky/Bedford into the vest Hunt is on the edge and 15 disposals minimum or its Hibberd from round 3 onwards and i don't trust him to earn his spot back through performance anytime soon. i find it amusing how many people were so excited to see Hunt sign a 2yr deal at end of last season and all of a sudden want him dropped, has there been a more unspectacular 9yr servant in our clubs history? wasn't up to it then not sure why he would be in these next two years
  6. you've done ur research, mcdonald played a good game on the weekend or at least a good half so i gave him votes yes but i don't think it is sustainable or he deserves his spot once we have all our options available but time will tell and that opinion is allowed to change and i still hope he performs over the next month ofc as it benefits our side. my predicition would be that the club gives him a new one year deal that flattens out next years 700k salary into 2023 to more like 400k/yr (500/300ish split) but with that extra year security that maybe he wouldn't have been offered otherwise and then he can be satisfied as a 1 club player and become our depth tall instead of mbrown/majak for the next couple of years and we have more immediate coin to play with in next seasons budget. thats how i think the club will play it
  7. petracca wouldn't be able to do half of what he does without clarry giving the ball to him, yes trac is the dusty mould who walks out the front of stoppages, kicks goals and looks good doing it all but imagine if clarry wasn't burried under every pack it would be the oppo waltzing out the front door. as crucial cog as any in our side and that cannot be debated
  8. hes OOC - i went to school with him, he told bevo in his exit meeting last year. i want to play back not forward to which bevo said you'll play where i pick ya. he said no i want to play back, bevo said ok but you'll start as our 42nd player ed said no worries and got to work. was playing really well vs collingwood in the vfl game on friday but then broke his leg/ankle and got stretchered off. i have a feeling a lot of clubs will be on the phone given the depth and strength of dogs in that position
  9. vandemeer, ed richards, lipinski - theres a massive squeeze on at the doggies. jj in the 2s and mclean to come back from an acl next season too
  10. 6. lever 5. oliver 4. may 3. spargo 2. mcdonald 1. petracca

we are going to get absolutely smashed this season, call me reactionary whatever. there was not a single around the ground ball up all game, boundary throw ins sure but pure ball ups - none. and that's all we're good at...

both are coming off injuries last week so it makes sense
  19. congrats to him, please perform for the first two months - my supercoach team is relying on it
  20. u clearly have never seen another post i've ever written, i don't think he's a wingman i think if he's to play it should be as a HF as he seems to have a decent sidestep and a good eye for goal but his trajectory each year seems to be out of the team for 15 weeks break in for 3 games when we are at our most injured and then return to the 2s again. i think we have better options and there are better options elsewhere in the afl playing magoos who we should look at bringing in going forward
  21. Premier: Richmond ?? Runner-up: Port Adelaide Wooden spoon: North Melbourne Moving up: Fremantle Set to fall: Essendon/Collingwood Brownlow Medal: Matt Rowell Coleman Medal: Charlie Dixon NAB AFL Rising Star: Matt Rowell Best new Demon: Jake Bowey Demon All Australian: Max Gawn Steve May Demon B&F: Steve May Big call: is it big to say goodwin doesn't make it past the byes and yze takes over on an interim and then gets the reigns for '22 onwards? otherwise i'll say eddie maguire admitted to rehab Ladder prediction: 1. 22. if this doesn't call for a weridee probable 22 post then idk what ever does, i'm having withdrawals
  23. how much more time can a 4th year player have at the second level, just gotta cut losses and move on. i was really surprised at how many times he came to the bench vs doggies, definitely at least once a quarter for a good 6-8 minutes, feel like that's a lot? hibbo i think could have another year left in him after this as depth/insurance depending on what we decide on hore/lockhart who are yet to really show they can contribute constitantly at the level more than he does
  24. i didn't think coniglio seemed like a good leader, wasn't vocal unless coaches told him to be in meetings and didn't speak up like sloane did onfield, and didn't get angry enough or emotional enough when results weren't going their way. didn't appear to rally the troops enough, hopefully for their sake having polar opposite toby greene as a VC this season will help spark that side of the leadership for them.
  25. give me a spell, they're having a laugh with a mate of theirs who obviously wouldn't be on the podcast if he didn't like it. the worlds getting far too pc if u can't make a joke at ur mates expense on a podcast u run. don't like it? don't listen to it, simple really but it would be half the listening experience it is without all 3 of them taking it in turns to make light of a situation whatever it may be
