only because they are playing watson, colyer, switkowski, even conca who are all super ordinary coz they're so decimated

keen for oliver jnr in 20 years time swear he was in every one of your 368 best 22 sides since september

i agree, no around the ground ball ups last night... we're f*ed
-
u got one part right! 6.20
-
we are going to get absolutely smashed this season, call me reactionary whatever. there was not a single around the ground ball up all game, boundary throw ins sure but pure ball ups - none. and that's all we're good at...
-
both are coming off injuries last week so it makes sense
-
congrats to him, please perform for the first two months - my supercoach team is relying on it

u clearly have never seen another post i've ever written, i don't think he's a wingman i think if he's to play it should be as a HF as he seems to have a decent sidestep and a good eye for goal but his trajectory each year seems to be out of the team for 15 weeks break in for 3 games when we are at our most injured and then return to the 2s again. i think we have better options and there are better options elsewhere in the afl playing magoos who we should look at bringing in going forward

how much more time can a 4th year player have at the second level, just gotta cut losses and move on. i was really surprised at how many times he came to the bench vs doggies, definitely at least once a quarter for a good 6-8 minutes, feel like that's a lot? hibbo i think could have another year left in him after this as depth/insurance depending on what we decide on hore/lockhart who are yet to really show they can contribute constitantly at the level more than he does

Making Their Mark - Amazon Prime Documentary
Turner replied to At the break of Gawn's topic in Melbourne Demons
i didn't think coniglio seemed like a good leader, wasn't vocal unless coaches told him to be in meetings and didn't speak up like sloane did onfield, and didn't get angry enough or emotional enough when results weren't going their way. didn't appear to rally the troops enough, hopefully for their sake having polar opposite toby greene as a VC this season will help spark that side of the leadership for them. -
give me a spell, they're having a laugh with a mate of theirs who obviously wouldn't be on the podcast if he didn't like it. the worlds getting far too pc if u can't make a joke at ur mates expense on a podcast u run. don't like it? don't listen to it, simple really but it would be half the listening experience it is without all 3 of them taking it in turns to make light of a situation whatever it may be

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MAJAK DAW
Turner replied to Lord Nev's topic in Melbourne Demons
petty took about 8 intercept marks a game in the ressies, we can't afford to joel smith him and constantly switch him from end to end. let him perfect his defensive craft and positioning and i have no doubt he'll be a regular starter by mid season. offers more than tomlinson for sure, only a matter of time well pick mbrown ahead of tmac instead then idc just not tommy -
anb went to daniel in the second after he had 11 in the first and had a real impact tbf to him both ways

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MAJAK DAW

the coaches wont do it because it's a tough decision and they seem to have a problem making those and seem to have forgotten that mcdonald was on the trade table and so so average last year but its blatantly obvious that he doesn't do enough to impact games ever and just gets a pass coz he lost some weight -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MAJAK DAW
Turner replied to Lord Nev's topic in Melbourne Demons
i'd take two majak quarters before i take 2 weeks of tmac's -
the player is forced to sit out 12 days anyway so they're gonna want to at least get another 30 minutes of football in because they know they are going to miss next week regardless of how they feel so it is no incentive at all to the concussed player.
-
i think it's a bad idea. what makes a concussion so much more important than an acl or a shoulder or hammy that it requires a 23rd man. same deal with any other injury imo if u get a concussion bad luck ur out for the game and u can't be replaced otherwise replace all injuries and if thats the case it should only be valid for injuries in the first quarter because after that it is a big difference having an extra set of wheels just join in the action

*he's the only one who had a contract that was still running

-

he played 7 games for the season... we didnt need him to get where we got to especially with the strength of our mids and the fact we would have known we had eyes on two inside mids at the draft (sparrow+jordon) with lewis and jones still in there too and yes i'm so glad we did it with kent and hannan and wish we'd done it with hunt too when the dons seemed keen pre signing nick hind
