well summed up, ykb

no, he's not the present nor the future of this football club, tbh i'm not seeing what everyone else is so far this year but maybe i watch him too closely looking for his mistakes but given the fact he's on 700k and GCS current shortage of depth forwards im hoping we can ship off the best part of 500 of that - they get an upgrade on Day/Burgess/corbett to support Bking and we get him off our books with one of majak/mbrown to continue in the depth role going forward with LJ and then bradtke/andrews developing behind the current first choice duo
-
just out of curiosity how many of those mates did u have?
-
wouldn't quite call tmac a reversal in form just yet
-
except you didn't come to demonland for that content ;) ... but we did and we love it

still think we threw gysberts out too soon, however i'm a big fan of what pedo did during his time so im willing to let it go this time
-
just our luck really, fingers crossed he slips as the year goes on, couldn't come at a better time with Majak, TMac and MBrown all the wrong side of 30 or playing like they are anyways ?
-
any relation to Harry ;) May and Jordon (sub) --> Petty and Sparrow for mine
-
very quietly

VFL side named: B Rosman MBrown Lockhart HB Hibberd JSmith White C Baker Munro Petty HF Chandler Weideman Bowey FF DSmith BBrown Bedford R Daw vandenBerg Bradtke IC Laurie Foot Quigley Lewis Freeman Grey E Sparks Ellison so by my maths melky is the carryover and only pissible change/sub
-
no change.

the flipside which no one seems to have acknowledged including dimma is what happens when for example richmond loan out RCD and Thomson Dow to a NM/carlton or whatever and that player plays 22 games that season and the senior coach says how would u like to join on permanently heres a 3yr deal and ur clearly in the 22 as you proved this season, now you've just generated a process that allows you to have your youngsters tapped up and stolen undoing any previous developmental work you've put into them and setting u back as it always eventually catches up with you - see gws who consistantly lost players 23-27 each season meaning players 30-35 are now 4th year players who are not at the level required for senior footy but have been granted season upon season due to exits in the fringe bracket above them year on year.

don't believe i mentioned salary cap once?

couldn't be better timing MBrown, Majak, TMac all withering out and we get a project tall to slip into one of their spots and Chandler, Bedford, Baker not quite making the jump after 3-4 years as smalls and we get a little indigenous boy who even if he goes back alongside Bowey & Deak is going to be so nice when we start to lose Jets, Hib and with the jury still out on Hunts long term spot in the side. Is it bad that i'm excited for october already?
-
and my god has he timed his run perfectly, game suits his style and he's looking like the weapon he's always threatened to be. just hope this doesn't turn into a stevie motlop where u get one good season just in time for ur big pay packet like he did at geelong and another in his FA year when port snapped him up
-
conceptually i agree with u but not on a personel basis, improving the ratio of hunters to distributors in our midfield would benefit the side but i'd struggle to throw any of them out of the club i like them all. even harmsey who cops the brunt of the heat i'd feel bad for as a childhood dees fan, and viney obviously as the father-son, too wholesome for me to dismiss either of those boys. "the irish boy" happens to be a member of their leadership group and played in a grand finalist side so lets not pretend he's fresh of the plane and we've never heard of his existence before come on now. and fair fks to him too he's done a bloody good job round 2 and backed it up on titch as well
-
and then the whole supermarket turned around and applauded... DHOTYA don't need to be a smart person to know matt de boer is in the side to tag the oppos premier onballer
-
could easily run with dahl who is horribly out of form and has never been the quickest assuming he stays in the side and fog plays for carlton so u wont have to worry about him ripping jets to shreds he also kicked 2 goals last week against last years preliminary finalists but that doesn't suit the agenda
-
who? guthrie? just about their only midfied who is honest and all grit, would never shirk the contest
-
tmac goes out firstly imo as soon as this week for majak. every other side has key forwards dominating ours cant even lay a hand on it. and 5 tackles my [censored], he just sits on the tackle someone else made at the top of the goalsquare to get the stat not once did he actually instigate a tackle or put the chase in himself it was just fortunate the smalls were doing their jobs right under him. probably the jones/sparrow spot that goes to jacko to fit weid and BBB in
-
bump ??????? hindsight 20:20 aye
-
Sparrows place is shaky but 4 tackles means he's contributing to our front half pressure which melky historically doesn't so no change there for mine, every other teams key power forward is contributing massively of the scoreboard ours can't even get one mit near it so TMac out Majak in the modern game should suit him and he's got the strength to out muscle his oppo, if it doesn't work out we haven't lost anything from our game to try it
-
Gawn Pickett Hunt Fritsch Viney Rivers
-
not really? he's been sub every week and they haven't had an injury to require activating him, thats just the luck of the gig no fault of his own
