It comes down to cover. To me Viney is an animal and plays in the same style as a Selwood . He can be covered by a variety of mids and we have many to rotate with. TMAC is versatile, pinch hit in the ruck play forward and back a rare breed. TMAC is the one for now. However together in the same side we would be very hard to beat .

I know we are in good hands when we run out for our first game. To have Jones, Lewis and Vince the elder statesmen with our abundance of young up and coming stars will help settle any nerves.

You know, when a young Champion in Clarry signs till the end of 2021 it just shows how much he loves the Club and his team mates around him. Weideman played his best game against Hawthorn. That was his first senior game late in the season 2016. kicked 2 goal and was involved early in that game. Finished the game off well. He has the potential has time on his side, however he will have to make a move on . Lets hope he turns it around very soon and showcases ability in 2018.

Hang in there Leo let the season begin for us and give the injured boys hope. Lets all stick together and think positive.

TMAC and Viney will be missed , however we have the depth to compromise. As soon as they are back we will be even stronger.

Lets win the Round 1 encounter against the [censored] cats and then ride each game as they come and hope that the ledger falls our way half way through the season with hardly any injuries to our top liners. The feeling is that it will be a very tight season with plenty of upsets with the top team finishing off with 15 wins. In saying that we are more than capable of winning 15 games for the season and could finish on top. Then bring it on because the Dees are ready.
