  1. Maxy is going to be out for a while, whatever the diagnosis. I know the team is bigger than the individual. But Maxy is huge. HUGE. This team needs to dig deep and somehow find a way to move forward. Coaches, psychologists et al get onto this asap! Us fans can keep grieving hard but the team can't afford to.
  2. Be gone with you. That comment was far to sensible
  3. Seems to be dopey enough without one. Sorry, had to say it ;-)
  4. Great thread! I often don't feel learned enough to comment on the intricate play related threads. But this one, I CAN CONFIDENTLY COMMENT ON!!!! BEST Supporting a team with the most beautiful colours Seeing my children, or any child, wearing those beautiful colours No longer supporting the team with the longest premiership drought WORST Corrupt high up employees of the AFL Inequality in fixturing Feeling ill after a game we should/could have won, but didn’t
  5. The "gamble responsibly" disclaimer is a pure insult. Those head honchos at AFL house must roar with laughter when they hear it.

Got her priorities right. Well done. One of my daughters could sing the entire Melbourne theme song when she was 2. I had my parenting priorities right also.
  7. Let’s bring this back to Daisy and celebrating her stellar career. She is a star. I love her. I visit Geelong frequently and will gladly abduct her and bring her back to Melbourne where she belongs.
  8. Congrats! You knew someone would comment on a post you made on a public online forum. Awesome. Agree to disagree with regards to Daisy comments and everything else you wrote, except the stuff about men's cricket. We have found mutual ground. My TV is constantly on the darn men's big bash (thanks other half) and I just can't escape it. Go Dees (in the AFL & AFLW).
  9. Yes yes, my display name is questionable. But so appropriate given how I became to love this club. I couldn't believe what I read by deebauched. Surely it was tongue in cheek? If not, I stand by my insinuation of his comments as crazy and an outlier to most others views!. We all have an opinion, we can post them and others can comment. I sure as hell am going to comment when my insides reacted the way they did when reading deebauched's post.
  10. I want what you are smoking....
  11. From his words, Demonsterative seems to have some sort of knowledge in the area. Please let it go Drysdale.
  12. Shhhhh don't give away our tactic :-)
  13. Never loose the humour d'landers. Gold.
  14. What an absolute pleasure to randomly scan this photo, & to my delight, see my long passed grandpa's photo. He was a trainer for the under 19's. Sincere thank you to Star of the 80's for sharing. This has made my day.
  15. My 2 girls have always loved the demons & worn the colours with pride. However, 2021 was something spectacular. They received random smiles, high fives & "go dees" from everywhere. Priceless. If they weren't already demons for life, they certainly are now. That flag, our super star captain & those glorious colours have them hooked for life.
  16. Commentators & the disgusting crows supporters need their eyes fixed too
  17. I went to the game last night. Perfect weather, glorious full moon, minimal traffic, free parking, glass of wine, no husband, no kids & my mighty demons were joy to watch. Winning all round. My team won’t be this glorious to watch forever. Despite family & work commitments, I intend to get to as many live games at the G as I can. I want to savour the moment & watch the miracle that is my beloved Dees being “that team”.
  18. ANB is brilliant. I don't know how he does what he does seemingly without breathing through his nose. I am serious! Imagine his stamina if he could correct this.
  19. I don't know who this fella is, but I love him. That jumper is just the most glorious sight
  20. Picked up this fabulous print from Joeboy today. The pictures & framing is fantastic. Great price too. Very easy purchasing process & quick turn around. Thanks Joeboy.
  21. This is a classic. I wondered the same during the game. When I slowed it down you can see Goody has a wry smile at what Burgess is saying. Burgess clearly says towards the end "Maxy said he is hot". I wouldn't be surprised if this is Burgess relaying the message from Gawn to leave Jackson in the ruck. Would make sense. Burgess is probably saying the rotation is due but "Maxy said he is hot". The body language shows restrained amusement. Love it.
  22. My house shook with excitement at the sight of the dees running out onto the ground. Come on you mighty dees. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!
  23. I have a priority 2 & priority 3 barcode to give away to dees fans. Message me if you would like these.
  24. I can lip read (a very handy skill) & noticed Lever say to a few boys after our round 23 & finals win "jobs not done". This man is worth every penny we pay him.......
  25. I have 2 barcodes. They can be used to purchase member pre sale tickets, up to 8 tickets per barcode. I would be thrilled to give these barcodes away to Melbourne supporters who can get to the game. I don't see anything illegal/dodgy in it. The club is encouraging this. The email says "If you know someone who would like to attend the game, you are welcome to pass on your membership barcode/s and allow them access to the member pre-sale when it opens" Message me if you would like these barcodes.
