GAME 14: Demonland's Best/Favourite Demon 1988-2020 - Robertson vs Oliver
Robbo for me. Was terrific to watch and never left you wondering what will happen next. No doubt Oliver will become a great player but right at this moment I have to favour Robbo.

GAME 11: Demonland's Best/Favourite Demon 1988-2020 - Lovett vs O'Dwyer
Brett Lovett by a country mile. One of the most skillful players I have witnessed.Could use him in today's team.

1988 Elimination Final
Now that's the reason we lost. We played to early. Had of been the last Saturday we would have won. Then again I reckon no one was to beat the Bombers that year.

1988 Elimination Final
Don't think so. We were close at 2.30pm on that last day in September

You forgot 2000. 20 years still waiting

Top 20 Demons 1987-2020
Have to agree Poita on Schwarz. I am convinced if he had stayed healthy all the footy public would be speaking of him in terms of G Ablett senior. He could have/would have been an absolute champion of the game if those knees didn't buckle on him.

Forward entry at Training
The players up the ground need to lower their eyes and only 'bomb' it when under extreme pressure or no one leading. We can't have the likes of TMac leading into a good position for him to see the ball continually going over his head. Lower your eyes Backs and Mids please. I would also add that if they do lower their eyes and pass to someone leading even if the pass is crap and runs along ground at least it gives the forwards a 50/50 chance. No chance sailing over their heads

Lynden Dunn
I think we all will be writing off this year. It also appears to me that you should follow another team seeing the Dees are a basket case in your eyes.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs West Coast
I've been banging on this for ages. We need to recruit players with excellent disposal skills or work bloody hard on existing to up skill them over whatever period we have out of the game. We get ball easily enough. We just give it back far to easily.

POSTGAME: Rd 01 vs West Coast
We all need to look at this in perspective in that it was basically another practise game with poor preparation having to fly in late and play a game that really it looked like no one wanted to play. That aside we still have issues with our mids being lazy other than Viney in not pushing hard enough back to assist when Weagles got the ball in our forward line. You would have thought that our players were taking into account the instructions from the Govt. to stay as far away as possible from others !!. No use talking about our skills as we have none.

GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs West Coast
And I think that little number 9 has turned every ball over also. Sick of our lack of skills

GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs West Coast
Gil to speak 3.30pm our (Qld) time which I assume will be 1/2 time of Lions/Hawks game. Stay tuned folks.

NON MFC: Round 01
Yes it appeared the Doggies listened to much to the pre season hype on them and just thought turning up would be enough. Need to turn that lack of aggression around real quick.

TEAMS: Rd 01 vs West Coast
We certainly need another tall to give Big Max a chop out.

Supercoach Leagues
Also any Demon tipping comps?

AFLW: Rd 6 vs Carlton
Can't see how the conference system has done us. Injuries and lack of finishing would be more to the point.. We still had our chances to kick goals and stay in front but lack of composure and more likely skills let us down plus a certain tallish lady in forward line is having a shocker.

Time the fence sitters committed to this club
Will get this back on track. Signed up as Interstate member again last Thursday and also twin Grand Sons. Trusting this Virus runs its path real quick and we get back to normal in life and with games. Hope its gone by time we play Brisbane and Gold Coast up here.

TEAM TO PLAY WEST COAST
Happy with the AFL team prediction. I would assume the AFL will follow other sports and play in locked down stadiums. If that is the case we have a real chance playing in WA with no RABID WC supporters swaying the umpires and helping out the Weagles. Go Dees. PS - Hope they charter a plane. Do not want players and officials having any chance of catching this virus.

POSTGAME: MS02 vs Hawthorn
Not convinced with Harmes in the backline. Reckon he's wasted there. Performed heaps better in 2nd half when thrown on the ball and forward. Put Salem back in his spot and throw him back into the middle even if it is off the bench.

POSTGAME: MS02 vs Hawthorn
We still bomb the ball into forward line. 2 weeks to get our backs and mids to lower their eyes and forwards to lead at the ball carrier, thus allowing the smalls to come in and crumb. Otherwise a good game with limited involvement from Gawn & Jones playing only a half and a fairly quiet game from Oliver. Looking forward to the Weagles.

Rd 01: Weideman vs Jackson
No brainer. Weids is miles in front of Jackson at this stage. Jackson played a half, and at that the 2nd half when opposition were tiring however every time got pushed off the ball. Needs plenty of time at Casey. In a year or two Jacko will be miles in front of Weids . He is just not ready at moment.

Robbie Flower: 20 Great Goals
Doing some reno's at home and found in a box the 2002 Aust Footy Legends rare vintage port bottle with Robbie on it and signed by him. Can't even remember buying the Port however it was a members only restricted edition.. Gave his records on the back and surprised he was only in the all Aust team only twice. In any case I'm sure the Port will be still Ok and when it cools down up here in Qld I will open it and drink to him and hopefully plenty of wins this year. What a great player he was.

TEAMS: MS02 vs Hawthorn
You need to realise that Lever is not a big fella and best suited to float around the back line, reading the play and what we got him for to intercept and drive us forward.
