Watching Colingwood V Port on foxtel (really just settling in for tonight's match) and Brad Johnson's commentary is quite good which just goes to prove that he should NEVER commentate a Bulldogs match. Far too conflicted. Even his fellow commentators last Sunday told him to pull his head in. As for DURRRWAYNE. There is no such thing as a "quarterback" in AFL football you muppet. That's what he keeps calling Pendlebury. Cringe worthy stuff.

I agree with you. We were their Sunday and compared the crowd to the TV vision of the North-Saints match and it was nearly twice the size. AFL fudging the crowd again. And I thought Ian Collins was the only one to do it. Was told once that the attendance was 5,000 even before the gates open (Medallion Club). Sounds about right for any variance.

Tim Watson twice said that he thought it was a push in the back but when you look at the replay (and he has the advantage of that in the commentary box) it is clear that ANB grabbed at the lower part of his jumper and pants. You can clearly see his pants being pulled. NEVER in the back Timmy.

So the irate pies fan complains that the umpires treat them as "stupid". Maybe I have been under estimating the umpires until now. Just watched the replay again and the pies fans were calling "ball" even before we were tackled in some instances. They were clearly trying to rev their players up as they know how intense we treat this game. Just love Q.B.

There are a lot of us who remember that day. Slept outside the ground for the whole week prior to the G.F. "T section" was alive that day. What with the function after the game and Sunday, finally got home Sunday night. Brother and I had a great time even if he does barrack for Collywobles.

I feel with so many injuries that there might just be a little pressure put on him to play. Hope that he is OK with that decision.

Was fortunate to meet most of the guys as my uncle was Colin Long and I went in a few times. Another good moment was I was catching the last flight home to London from Dublin in 1976 and Ron Casey was sitting there and we met again. Had such a great chat. Very interesting man. Great memories from that show.

Watched the Giants match on Foxtel and nearly threw the console at the screen. Dwayne Russell is such and embarrassment commentating. His barracking for the druggies was to the point of sickening. Why do they persist with him I'll never know.

Really the first time I heard the Melbourne crowd start chanting along with the cheer squad. The noise was brilliant. The rest was glorious history.
