I think in general most clubs' late choices would be ranked by those clubs a fair way ahead of where they were taken, if that makes sense. The top ten or twenty of most clubs would be similar, but after that they would start to vary greatly I would imagine, so the chance of those guys being available is far greater. Could be wrong, that is how I would imagine it would happen.

Most experts comment on his aggression as one of the first points about him. Seems many on here just see a kid who isn't ripped up like Rambo and decide he is soft.

I have got a feeling Scharenberg will one of the top couple of players from the draft, and will be a far more influential than many taken before him such as Bontempelli etc, but we will see I guess. As for Christian, welcome to the club mate, and must admit his selection sits a little easier with me than Freeman would have.

Lol at those who are disappointed we are not favourites. I think the optimism has risen to such levels the previous two seasons, we actually went in favourites against Brisbane and Port in those two years, only to be well and truly blown out of the water by half time, or even earlier. Our last two seasons have been write offs by half time of round 1 the last two years, we have no right to go in as favourites against anyone other than perhaps GWS. That is until we have actually shown improvement, but I think punters have finally seen through early season optimism at Melbourne.

Will be interesting to see how he goes, but you are right, I think it is time for everyone to forget the possibility of him ever pulling on the red and blue again.

I don't really think the PSD works as it used to. The fact there is now delisted free agency and the fact uncontracted players can now enter the national draft mean the PSD achieves little more than giving you a few weeks to look at your list post national draft and go from there. So I am not expecting any miracles from the PSD. Players will try their luck in the national draft if they have to (eg Tippett, Ball) and they almost always get to the club they want. Obviously if we an get someone like Bugg to want to come to the MFC specifically then we might be in business, but I'm not overly hopeful, an that's fine.
