  1. I though we "had a crack" so to speak, today was more a case of us being a rubbish football team up against a monster midfield who just bullied us.
  2. Haha, there will be some miffed Demonland posters. I think he is worth persevering with, and would have only parted with him for the right trade, but his trade value would be next to nothing, so worth more to us to keep on the list.
  3. Let me guess, a kick to a contest is an 'effective disposal'? And we are the team who kicks down the line to contests more than any other, which is why we have a reliance on contested marks.
  4. How is this thread hanging around? Adcock has been awful for a few years now. He is one of Brisbane fans' main whipping boys.
  5. Can't let the last 3 or 4 weeks take away from what this bloke has done during such a shitty period at the club. I love Jonesy and hopefully we can have a win for him.
  6. Roosy's little rant was pretty condescending towards us supporters. To think that us going to work and getting a bit of light hearted ribbing about our team losing is the extent of it, lacks the understanding of the hurt a lot of supporters feel.
  7. I always thought he was an ok kick, but after watching more closely the last couple of weeks, I need to revise that. He consistently butchered it. This is hard to explain so stick with me, but when he has it at half back, a player is 5 or 10 metres clear of his man, instead of hitting him up and controlling the play with a mark, he kicks to grass as if to say the player has enough space to get there and collect it before his man gets there. Inevitably, the ball bounces at a right angle and the player is under immense pressure. Does it all the time, but one glaring case was one where he put Grimes under the pump big time early yesterday and cost us a goal. Would you continue to create space between you and your opponent, if you are just going to consistently be put under the pump by your teammate's woeful skills.
  8. David Misson - Deplorable to Mediocre Performance Manager
  9. Results speak? His results have been impressive, especially considering his age, lack of experience, and woeful quantity and quality of service he gets. He had a stinker today, but the above comment is absolute drivel.
  10. Hard to argue with any of those. Although, probably the easiest week to do it, just have to slate every player and you will be close to the mark.
  11. The thing is we probably will. I need to see at least half a season of consistent effort before I will be convinced.
  12. Dawes was absolutely awful yet again. Garlett wasn't at the races, and not for the first time recently. Vince and Jones both down for the third week running. Hogan had one of those days. Gawn was well beaten. Awful, just awful, performance. I think we have improved in the grand scheme of things, but that makes these huge lapses even more inexcusable. Roos and the leadership group have a huge amount to answer for in regards to the last three weeks.
  13. Today yes, but his hands are usually very clean. His lack of pace is his main concern, especially now he plays less time in the middle.
  14. I usually hate these sort of threads or statements, but this is just awful and if we hear more media fluff this week I will spew.
  15. Comments about the past or wanting the season to end are rubbish. This has been your team for 2 years now, and they are every bit as mentally weak as they were when you took over.
  16. I wish someone in the media had the balls and the knowledge to call Roos out and get some real answers out of him. On 360, Whately doesn't have the balls, and Robbo has neither.
  17. I'm glad Jeff thinks it funny
  18. Poor guys. They just want the season to end. Must be so hard for them.
  19. He is a little bit untidy at times, but is lightning and actually uses his speed in traffic to burst away, unlike someone like a Sam Blease. If the price is right I reckon he would fit our needs very well.
  20. Finally got a decent run in the team. Largely disappointed but was good last week, and as mentioned above, suprised with his breakaway speed. Interesting three games ahead for him.
  21. I agree with this. He hasn't been as influential the last few years now. I'm not against getting him at the right price, but the priorities should probably lie elsewhere.
  22. Yep, Treloar is a gun but I would be very hesitant on compromising future drafts for Aish.
  23. 6 - McDonald and now it gets tougher 5 - Michie 4 - Grimes 3 - Hogan 2 - Viney 1 - Vince
