Hes a likeable enough bloke but I"m afraid that if he goes gangbusters this year I will feel a tad shortchanged and feel like he didnt do enough for Melbourne. Catch 22 for me. Best to just move on and accept that he will be pretty much the same player except when he plays his old team and like the rest of them seem to do .... kick a huge bag. Just the way it is. I do hope we that don't treat him like Scully though.

He was good in the last game but was horrible in his 3 games b4 that. I hope he goes and plays well somewhere else .......best of luck to him. It was interesting. As bad as we were 1st quarter the umps gave Pies 5 frees and 0 to us. In the the 3rd the frees were even ....11 each. IN the last they went back to giving pies 4 more. HUge impact at crucial times.

We also haven't been smashed by other teams. In fact, there have been very few smashings this season so therein lies the answer. Teams have never been closer than this season. Yes, I would love to see us put Norf away by 12 goals but I'd be happy with a 1 point win as well. We need to put this year and last against the backdrop of a decade of shite. We are not beating teams by more than 40 points but we are at least beating teams we have not beaten for eons. From that angle this team is awesome.
