I wouldn't call gawn a leader of the MFC. Did very little this year which is ironic because last year he talked about being the best ruck in the comp.

I know he has played only 13 games this year but Big Max has only given us a grand total of 4 goals for all of those games combined. Need a ruckman that kicks more than that. As much as this club has improved this year, Gawn Im afraid has gone backwards. Bernie is in the same boat. Lewis is more interested about footy tv shows than winning. So much for leadership.

It wasnt a great game from him but the way the ball came in was horrible for a defender. It was bad day to have a bad game though. He was much better than TMAc whose time in the frwd line has made him forget how to defend. Why Goody keeps letting Vince play in the backline Ill never understand. Gawn has been much worse than Watts this year is my 2 cents. Seriously needs to get to at least vfl fitness standard. Hes not marking because hes not presenting. Hes not presenting because he is 40 yards away. Hannan has hit a wall. That chip kicking by so many in the first 15 mins of the game was just strange. There were just too many players that only played half a game. There have been too many poor starts this year where the gap is so big we cant close it. Something needs to be done b4 the first 10 min. Goody just doesn't seem like the type to fire them up. He's very cool and thats just how some coaches coach. I wouldnt mind him throwing the odd wobbly from time to time. Seriously the umpires did ignore a lot of frees they should have paid us and while we were poor it may have made a difference to our %. We need to recruit another ruckman that can play fwd another gun midfielder and another wingman and we should be ok. Several delists for me including White, Spencer, Kennedy, Kent and Trengrove to start with. JKH and Weidman need to get show some form next year. We are moving in the right direction at least. we won ten games last year. As disappointed as I am.....the expectations of MINE were way too high.

Jesse Hogan is so bloody unlucky. It just stinks. Heres a guy who is not just incredibly talented but his passion is above so many others. Nobody deserves that sort of bad luck but it's a double shame happening to a player that tries so much harder than so many others at our club. We have so dearly missed his marking ability. It seems we have no other player that can take more than 8 marks in a game. Glaring problem. Hope we can pick up some players that can.

It was interesting. As bad as we were 1st quarter the umps gave Pies 5 frees and 0 to us. In the the 3rd the frees were even ....11 each. IN the last they went back to giving pies 4 more. HUge impact at crucial times.

We are a long way from ready. All of us here expect too much especially me. I have to stop believing the hype the club keeps putting out. Lets get another 2 midfielders and a ruck who can take a mark or two and well be ready.

There is no way Eagles will lose at home. Unlike us they want to play finals and crows can drop a game and still be on top. 12 wins is better than last year. IM going to wait until we are 20 goals up in the last quarter of a gf b4 I get confident again. Enjoy your retirement Bucks.
