  1. The one on the right looks like the grinch in profile
  2. Sorry DV, not sure I agree with this. Goody has nothing to gain by comparing his chargers with the Mark Neeld era where only about 3 players are still on the books. He must demand performance and evaluate weekly on the output vs expectations - and hold the line on any sub par efforts observed. He is absolutely doing this. Moving Jack Watts on shows talent alone isn’t good enough and shows the whole group the ramifications of non compliance. This group are motivating each other by demanding excellence of each other. The only stat they will mention on poor club history is no flag since 1964, because they know it matters to us.
  3. Hope we do better against them than last year then. That was the most depressing game I went to bar none.
  4. Sucks to be Alan Richardson
  5. What you can’t see in this photo is all the short captains jumping up and down trying to grab the cup off Max
  6. I'm guessing the skyscraper on the right is Maxy and the one on the left is Pruess
  7. No conspiracy - below link to the Triple M news site confirms Jones and Viney to skip the AFL captains day to prove their fitness at a Casey Fields closed session (AFL sanctioned their absence). Need to get through that well to play v Port Adelaide. https://www.triplem.com.au/story/jack-viney-and-nathan-jones-will-train-at-casey-on-friday-to-prove-their-fitness-for-round-one-131458
  8. No Clint, but he is #1 in the club for pressure acts. So I expect he signed up 1,500 members in a half hour burst.
  9. I’m glad our club haven’t stooped this low. I’d be pretty dark hanging out all summer waiting to see the dees in action Round 1 only to have them come out looking like a total joke. Imagine how all the old timers (bullies players) would be feeling whose mantra was to bleed for the jumper. Wouldn’t spit on that one, let alone bleed for it.
  10. This is a new paradigm - the potential to cause injury. We’re now in a new world where impact is no longer based on consequence but opinion. just another AFL interpretation like OOB intent. This game is so far into the grey it’s ridiculous.
  11. God knows I’d like to imitate what May did with idiots who walk on the footpath while reading their iPhones and not watching where they’re going
  12. It’s not appropriate to grade the severity based on the fact he took no further part in the game, because it’s a practice match. he Didn’t have concussion either. bit of a joke frankly.
  13. What a ripper of an interview ET. Really appreciate this and I hope he’s being well cared for. What a character. Donegan did a great job. loved the bit where Murray Weideman gave him a love tap in the “very lower stomach” in the 58 granny and (it sounds like) half the team we’re trying to get even.
  14. If I get a call from Dickie Knee trying to get me to sign up, I’ll know you’re right on
  15. Sad to see him now really, a shadow of his former self
  16. Reading this, I can close my eyes and imagine Bob Hawke on telly after we break the drought recapturing his Australia II celebrations “any boss who fires anybody for not turning up to work today is a bum” (but wearing the Cameron Schwab blazer).
  17. Is that you @Ron Burgundy?
  18. I'll be lucky to walk if we win the big dance, let alone swagger
  19. We've signed up the wifey this year as a first year member (after the finals excitement last year, including the GF guarantee helped get her over the line). 69,997 to go!
  20. I had to laugh last year when, at the start of the finals series, he picked Melbourne to finish runners up for the flag, but also tipped Geelong (on the same page) to beat us in the elimination final.
  21. I reckon they’re simulating the temperature at the MCG when he’ll make his return
  22. Time to bring out the ole one handed pickup. The boy's a magician.
  23. I think we should also recognise that Preuss played yesterday while Nar Nar Goon was under threat from fire (where he lives). Decent reason to be distracted. Big shout out to the fireys doing a terrific job who didn’t get to watch the footy.
  24. Didn’t watch Kyrgios this eeekend then? ?
