Sounds like he’s either the bridge between our backline and forward line, or he’s going to fill the hole in defence. -

This thread takes me back to the optimism of draft time 2013 -
You sure look innocent Mazer.

Unless they’re lazy, layzie -
To be fair, WB, this is the Ben King thread

Sam Weideman is a Developing* player at 31 games Joel Smith has played 11 and is C Grade....after being injured all year. No logic there. And I agree with all on the Harmes' assessment (per my avatar). Makes the overall assessment less credible.

Is his nickname Basil?

More probably that we still don’t have a home to store it in

Keith “Bluey” Truscott Trophy 2019
In Harmes Way replied to Lucifers Hero's topic in Melbourne Demons
Is that the actual cover band playing on the live stream? Theyre as bad as we were this year -
Something in this Ethan. Average disposals for the top 5 - Fyfe 29.2, Dangerfield 27.1, Cripps 28.1, Neale 30.9, T Kelly 25.4 Neale would have won it on this basis if they had the home crowd factor that Freo enjoy.

He will always be fondly remembered to me for this. Ran right past us, will never forget the look on my boy's face when he nailed this.....

Good idea dp. I won't be able to make it, but my queries are: 1. Joel Smith did not play all year after being left on the ground in a practice match clearly injured. Convince me this was not incompetence on the part of coaches/medical team. 2. Steven May turned up to the club unfit/overweight and missed more games this year than his last five years. How are we preparing both returning players this year and trade-ins/draftees alike given May was clearly not informed on expectations before arrival. 3. How was an even more immature forward line than last year with the loss of Hogan and Weideman part time allowed to be run under a first year line coach for as long as it was? In fact, what was the basis for giving Rooke the gig in the first place, I'd have expected a more experienced coach for a less experienced forward line. 4. If the board was forewarned before the season commenced that our pre-season was disastrous with respect to lack of fitness, why were the members not given ANY indication of this. Short term revenues gain from more members, upgraded membership categories including gf guarantees etc will now be more than offset next year with reduced memberships next year because we've got a board that are evidently not transparent and honest with their members. 5. Give me an example where we tried a Plan B in a game that wasn't going well.

Nice summary joeboy Lockhart a bit better than a bit player, I think you’ve nailed the rest

No point going to the B&F this year, send Bluey in the post to Max and save on what will be another financial loss for the club. He should do well in the Brownlow as well this year, nobody to pinch his votes.

We've already got one Daisy as a mascot, don't need two

It’s strange opening a game day thread on a Friday! Dees fancied to win by the bookies, I hope they’re right. Last chance to get to a game unless you’re @Clintosaurus - get along if you can, it might marginally improve our chances for Friday night games next year!

Yeah - let's get Malthouse. Could be a director of coaches?

Carey did all his best work in the off season.

Mind boggling to think that, when he was part of the 1961 team to lose the Preliminary final to Footscray, he missed what would have been his 8th grand final in a row. Vale Bluey. Condolences to the family.

Do you reckon Gil would give GWS a priority pick if Coniglio leaves?
