I remember a similar video about Adelaide showing the competition how to beat us last year.

Will Max Gawn ever be recognised as the best player in the league?
Jeremy Finlayson was classified as elite at the beginning of the season 🤦♂️

Just wait until they realise the Goodwin tag leaves them without a coach

Goodwin, Jackson, Pickett, Sparrow, Petty & Neal-Bullen All Out with COVID
Lever can marshal Tomlinson, Petty & Smith. Mitch Brown can take over Fritta's role for a week or 2. Daw for Gawn? Only swapping a G for a D and losing an N. Sparrow was our Petracca backup. Clarry - I don't see any like for like player to come in there. We'd require a re-jig of the midfield for the weeks he's not there. Do we throw Brayshaw back in there?

22-0 or 21-1
21-0-1 We'll go undefeated and draw with a club like Adelaide or Collingwood (Or Freo/Bris)

NON-MFC: Round 3, 2022
Bit annoying that Collingwood look like being one of our competitors in the finals. In the sense that they might be able to make a prelim via the 5-8 route.

Jake Bowey Rising Star #2
Can't wipe the smile off my face after that 360 interview. He's so composed even on camera. I'm loathed to say this, because he's as tough as competitor as any other 2nd year player, but he is a such a 'cute little tacker' of a footballer. Apologies 🤦♂️ Richard Hadley (Saw it on reddit this week)

POSTGAME: Community Series vs Carlton
Relax 58. I simply saw the 4 talls named and thought we might experiment with TMAC on the wing and Weid/BB up forward, rehearsing in the event of a Brayshaw or Langdon injury later in the year. It's not that crazy an idea, given the coach had it - And if Tmac or BB suffer an injury, and Weid comes in and holds his spot - Will we keep one of them out of the team or look at ways we can fit them all in? I bet Goody is creative enough to do something there. He had Tomlinson on a wing, granted it failed, but it shows he is thinking outside the box on positional changes like having a tall-athletic wingman to cover space on the ground and aerially. I have not seen Rosman or Howes, so I'm not prepared to consider them in the 22 yet. We are talking about a defensive winger role that requires a mature head for it, so whether Jordon is being primed as a back-up wingman, or not - It's hard to see anyone else coming through and certainly not Baker. Too embarrassed to reply? Cmon mate, life is too short to get embarrassed over internet posts. And besides, The demonland forum off-season of premiership good-will hasn't ended yet. Cheers!

POSTGAME: Community Series vs Carlton
The only concern might be the flow on effect of an injury to Brayshaw or Langdon in the regular season. Would Jordan then play their predominantly? Will he be reliable enough? Or would it be another wasteland for the midfield rotations again? It might go back to being one of our weaknesses. Whatever happened to the training of TMAC as a wingman in early 2021? We had injuries to Weid/BB that shifted our focus, but is it permanently shelved as an option? When I saw the big lineup of Weid/Brown/Tmac/Jackson, I thought we might use it as an opportunity to see TMAC up the ground, minding space and providing aerial capabilities. But it might be too theoretical at this stage, more important to give forward line practice to TMAC for the regular season. Anyway, putting all this practice-match nonsense aside, it will be great to see Brayshaw back on that wing.

Throwing away the whistle on GF day.
This is what irked me about the blocking topic. Sheeds opponent, Pendlebury btw, was nowhere to be found. If he'd actually contested with Sheed, the umpire would've just seen two pairs wrestling for the mark and let it go, be it a mark or spoil. And no one would be discussing Maynard being held. So a blocking free if it was awarded, would just be letting Pendlebury off the hook for not being there to contest. It would be a penalty against Sheed for being fitter. I think the ump got it right in officiating in the spirit of the game, rather than technically.

Throwing away the whistle on GF day.
The 3rd quarter in particular had quite a few high frees to the Dogs. It was annoying, but it was also a clear indicator that they were running out of options. When high frees are all you can summon from an offensive stand point to advance the ball forward, then you're running on fumes and about to be overrun. Probably part explains why they were so quick to hang their heads after our barrage of goals. They'd sensed it was coming a lot earlier and knew it was over, based on their own inability to do anything but draw a high free to combat the flow and run of our momentum prior to.
