I have been looking and looking at our Outs and Ins and feel very comfortable with all our ins. Our backline appears stronger with CJ and Xavier Taylor and our fwd line has been bolstered with Mihocek, Sumter-Pickett and Mathews, Ruck stocks with Heath and White, I feel we can cover Clarry But Tracc leaves the biggest hole in the list and that is my biggest concern.

There are some really good thoughts above perhaps Blake just needed to get himself a bit stronger and harder in the contest, his kicking, marking and clean hands already at a good standard. What was Nairn’s role going to be?

Mrfreeze I see CJ taking MvVee role and Xavier Taylor taking Trent Rivers role to free Riv up to go into midfield full time. There is still a role for Blake in the backline.

I won’t begrudge Clayton or Christian a good career post Dees but will be to busy following their replacements and hoping that we get our development and game plan right to be fretting about our two former stars.

Just to answer a couple of questions LITD, YES 2021 existed as did 2018, 2022 & 2023, we were alive in ‘24 right up until Tracc went down. The cumulative losses of BBB, Angus the Great, CP5 and a much reduced Clarry Choo Choo derailed our year. 2025 was an almost year just couldn’t finish off games. Now we are in Total Reset Mode - 12 players out including 5 & 13 and now 11 replacements in all of whom want to be Here. So try and stop delving into the recent path, enjoy the Ashes Series (still can’t believe Test 1 result). Enjoy the preseason and getting to know Kingy and all the players again, 2026 is total unknown but they won’t be weighed down by the recent past. Cheers LITD.😁👍

Love it stinga I remember lamenting our lack of height during latter stages of ‘22-23 where we seemed to be getting outmarked and no one to press fwd. I was desperate for Schache, Verrall and Fullarton to show something but none of them were quite up to it. Now every where you look we have height and raw talent in abundance just need our coaches and development team to develop and hone their skills to help lead us back to relevance.

After watching those clips I was really impressed by his clean hands and constantly getting into the right spot for his teammates, not frightened to take it on and attempt to break tackles. He moved the ball on quickly to his teammates advantage at every opportunity. I agree we have a steal with Riley Onley. I think that JT and team would be very happy with this years draft results. Time will tell.
