  1. Another big thanks to Demonland, Ghostwriter, waynewussell, ClaNiKo, Kev, all posters and special comments great reports fast and furious this morning. Sounds like everyone is up and about, great that Taylor was there this morning but no mention of Steele. Will miss these reports next week when they are on camp at Bright. Hopefully the club will keep us informed.
  2. Rpfc, Mathews is listed as 172cm same as Kozzie Pickett. Plays a bit like Kysaiah as well, apparently takes a big grab as well and loves to tackle.๐Ÿ˜
  3. Having looked at all the midfielders thinking we would be looking for replacements for 5 & 13, I was somewhat surprised by Lattrelleโ€™s choice at Pick 12 but now realise that we are on a rebuild, our backline looks pretty damn good with the addition of XT and CJ. Whereas we have a distinct lack of mid to small forwards to back up the young talls coming through. So a big Welcome to Latrelle Sumner-Pickett another exciting young forward coming into the fold. I am really looking forward to seeing Latrelle, Kozzie, Chandler and now Mathews sharpening us up in our fwd 50. Wahooo.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’•
  4. I am really liking what I have seen and heard about young Xavier Taylor so far, confident, skilled, toughish, BOG in the Coates League Grand Final, 192cm and has that footballer look. Welcome to MFC Xavier Taylor so looking forward to seeing you slot into our backline in round 1 2026, great replacement for the Judd, only 1cm shorter than Mayzie to.
  5. He certainly comes highly recommended, I was a bit stunned when JT called his name out at pick 30 but having read up on him like half the posters on here I am very happy with this pick. Welcome to the MFC young Thomas โ€œTankโ€ Mathews, get that knee right and look forward to seeing you out on the โ€œGโ€ sometime next year.
  6. Leaving our last two spots for our Rookies.๐Ÿ˜
  7. Thanks Vagg for making the effort to check them out, not as sexy as Jaguar but Australian owned organisation providing very necessary services similar to Spotless.
  8. I agree it has improved letโ€™s hope it continues to grow like that acorn, we deserve a hell of a lot better than we were receiving. Well done Dees.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’•
  9. Whatโ€™s your beef with Culley Dee Boys, he showed a lot last year and is showing that he has done the necessary preparation to have a great preseason. To my mind it is not rocket science. Our bottom 6-8 players last year were our weak link, Jai is 6โ€™4โ€ tall, he is relatively fast for a big man, he can take a great grab and can play, mid/fwd/wing. If he can remain fit, healthy and continue to work hard he will ease one of our bottom players out of the side and I hope that he does.๐Ÿ˜
  10. Brilliant work Six6Six really lifts your mood and anticipation.๐Ÿ‘
  11. An unintentional good wrap for Blake Howes as well.๐Ÿ‘
  12. Big thanks to Ghostwriter, WayneWussell, Kev Martin, Satan and all posters and special comments. Quite a bit of variability today kicking off with the 2km time trial and lots of drills and pics and a bit of a run down on the girls training as well. Greatly appreciated all.
  13. Thanks WW these are really great shots.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘
  14. Love your efforts WW but I canโ€™t see any of your pics Iโ€™m just seeing ? Marks.๐Ÿฅฒ
  15. Thanks Ghostwriter I have my fingers crossed, I will find out on the 27th.๐Ÿ‘
  16. Just a different take on proceedingโ€™s I had an urgent appointment with my heart specialist on Saturday arvo, i had a CT Scan on my heart the Friday before our Cruise. The clinic contacted me when we were sitting off Moreton Island on Wed and organised the appointment for when I got back home on Saturday. I watched the start of the game and we got off to a flyer. Whilst driving there the Crows came back hard with the help of three freeโ€™s (goals). Sitting in reception I checked my phone, dead level as I went into see my Specialist, we were in with him for quite awhile he explained my situation and organised an Angiogram ASAP. Anyway as soon as I got back to reception I checked my phone and I said to my wife, We Won and showed her the final scores, it gave us an instant lift in our spirits. Great game girls, thanks.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
  17. Off to a great start, Go Dees.
  18. Thatโ€™s his Ace up the sleeve, he is letting the boys see him as excited and relaxed, barriers are down, Iโ€™m approachable I want to get to know you all, you are the ones making the decisions out on the ground, if you arenโ€™t making mistakes you are playing to safe, he is offering them some control and encouraging interaction. Plenty of time for the stressful, anxious and menacing figure when things go wrong or the boyant strong leader when the occasion is required.
  19. Another big thanks to Demonland, Ghostwriter, Harvey Wallbanger, joeboy, BLNWBA and all posters and special comments, itโ€™s great to be able to read through all the posts and pick up the vibes hindsightโ€™s and excitement of the preseason and to be back home. Really enjoying the sounds of the sims, player performance, getting a feel for the changes and mood of the group plus revitalised, positive supporter group, loving it.
  20. Huge thanks for all track reports, posts and special comments greatly appreciated we will be back in Sydney Friday.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘
  21. Thank goodness for the training reports they just cancelled Moreton zisland due to rough conditions for the ships tenders. Lying up on L14 watching Mufasa Lion King.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜
  22. Thanks Radar we did a cruise around Australia in 2016 and pulled into Milne Bay and we got to stand on the Airstrip that Bluey Truscott and his Sqdn flew so gallantly against the Japanese invasion forces and was one of the reasons that forced them to abort the invasion. Bluey took over after the origySqudron leader crashed into the jungle and was killed. Great experience, we donโ€™t know enough about Bluey would make a great Movie.๐ŸŽฅ
  23. I think Go DS that Harvey Langford continued to improve throughout the year and to be honest most on here expected that he would continue to get better in โ€˜26. We have a couple of big holes to fill so a lot of expectation will fall his way along with Lindsay, Windsor, Tholstrup, Rivers and Steele but Riv and Langford in particular.
  24. Thanks all trackwatchers, reporters and posters, sounds like an exciting day for all. We are looking out the window of the โ€œCarnival Adventureโ€ in Sydney Harbour we sail out in an hour, so I am a bit weary from the travel and queues that started at 5:45 this morning (7oC) when our daughter picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, now a comfortable 22-23 degrees. Heading up to Moreton Island and return Friday. Looking forward to Wednesday and zfriday reports if I still have access.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜
  25. Certainly gives teams in the 9-12 range something extra to fight for, jeez I hope we can work our way into top 10.
