Christian Petracca’s 2024 Season Ending Injuries
DeeZone replied to pitmaster's topic in Melbourne Demons
Great to see Christian being interviewed on the MFC website he is starting the long journey to full recovery and the fact that as previously mentioned he is eyeing his spot on the bench when he is fit enough to rejoin the club fills me with confidence that he will be OK. Thanks Tracca and MFC.💕 -
Thanks WCW, Ditcha and all posters sounds like a great training / family day at Gosh’s today, very envious.

2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
DeeZone replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
We certainly need some extra quality mids spirit of norm smith but we don’t have the same volume of quality picks we had last year we also need another tall back and ruck plus make space for Judd McVee on senior list. I’m thinking that we need to clear 5-7 spots on the list, what do you think and how do we achieve it? -
Thanks Wilmoy you beat me to the punch. Lol.!!
-
More like are the umpires loaded.!!
-
Thanks DD the Stats bare out the fact that their best were significantly better than our best for longer, it also supports that we had a more even spread across our playing group and our youngsters dropped off in the last.

Can I just answer this one for Monbon, I worked for 60+ years and rarely made simple or blatant mistakes, as a rule of thumb I knew my responsibilities I understood the rules of engagement and I prided myself in my knowledge of my role and duties that i was paid to perform.
-
Congratulations Andy Moniz-Wakefield that was some game on debut 16 touches (9contested) 2 marks and 4 tackles. Took a while to adjust to the pace but overall a great first game, hopefully many more to come.
-
He is a bit of an odd-ball but I’m thinking he wants a bit more of the pie.!!
-
Riv thought he was Nick Daicos, Brissie got away with murder last night, so many blatant frees not paid but tight touchwood free played to one team at least and how come we didn’t see any replays of the Touched balls that we were robbed of???
-
15 touches, 8 marks, 4 tackles but scored 0.4 goals?
-
6. Kozzie 5 - Clayton (ran out of legs but VGood tonight 4 - Jack Viney what a warhorse 3 - Roo worked his butt off 2 - Max just keeps on trying 1 - Petty should have won the game for us Despite the loss that was a fantastic effort from our team, their greater experience , umpire assistance and fitness just got them over the line in the end but we sure made them work for it. We beat them with hit outs, clearances and contested ball. Sigh.!!!!

TRAINING: Thursday 27th June 2024 (Gabba)
DeeZone replied to Left Foot Snap's topic in Melbourne Demons
Thanks Left Foot Snap greatly appreciated glad to hear that most of the boys are happy and up and about. Also happy that Pup, Bil and Jefferson Ford are travelling emergency’s great experience for the lads. -
Thanks Timothy R-B Haymes is a great Sponsorship story and great products, I did a lot of painting with two of my daughters over summer and used Haymes exclusively (20% member discount), friendly helpful staff at their Epping Store. I think that if Daisy was still associated with MFC she would have got the gig whereas Kate is in our colours and Captain.😁

63,930 still climbing slowly. thanks George_on_the_outer.😁😁

Totally agree inanunda I thought the same thing myself, how handy would JJ and Toby be at the moment. The coaches have certainly twigged how to get them keen and then reward them.

Christian Petracca’s 2024 Season Ending Injuries
DeeZone replied to pitmaster's topic in Melbourne Demons
After watching the 360 interview you can clearly see that Tracc has realised the enormity of his injury and how much more serious it could have become. A life threatening injury would have to challenge his air of invincibility does he walk away or become a bit more circumspect and not put himself at such risk during the game, as Lachie Neale mentioned be more aware of the dangers around you and take the appropriate steps to lessen the risks. I am hoping that Tracc plays on but will happily accept his choices.❤️💙 -

More like the handers out of damaged and ruined football careers.😪 -
Thanks DD I’m thinking that we may see some of these numbers change quite rapidly as our younger set get the opportunity to play in roles that suit their skills more, Rivers in particular.
-
Congratulations Andy Moniz-Wakefield you have been racking up impressive possessions at Casey all year and fairly knocked the door off its hinges on Sunday Vs North. A lot of people on DLand have been calling for your debut including me so we are all looking forward to watching you run out on Friday night. Enjoy the experience young man play your role but show us your wheels.
