I agree FT I have watched the replay three times now and that last 10 minutes where we held them to 1 point despite repeated forward 50 entries at least 5-6 times and James Harmes featured strongly throughout. I bet the Coaches would have been rapt with his toughness, pressure and endurance. I might add no one on the ground was really clean due to the pressure, pressure, pressure. Well done James Harmes, I noted most Demonlanders managed to squeeze you into their votes as well. I thought that apart from Tmac, Clarry, Salem, Max, Ed, Tracc and Jordon it was a really strong Team Effort. So happy that we are 8-0 and that next week we get a better run with the Umps and that we turn up to play like Demons. Go Dee’s...!!!!

No changes barring injury, Gus needs to lift or be harder at the ball, Frittata needs to take a chill pill Hunt runs hard and maybe the team should use him more but Langdon is so good it is hard not to utilise him as first option. I think the whole team need to be freshened up this week, a low load week to ease some niggles. We have a very tough young group and we may need to start rotating some of our players.!!

Kate Roffey is a very impressive Lady a great speaker has lots of runs on the board and has a good understanding of what it takes to be successful, she would be great to work for. Ticks the boxes that I look for with Leadership, Kate could be the lynchpin for our eventual success . Well done MFC.!!!!!!

I know old Dee our players have just found belief in the coaches and each other I guess it will take time for everyone to find that confidence that we won’t crumble yet again.!!!

Thanks Craig H I also believe that it is time for MFC supporters to lift their heads in pride again as we did in the 50’s & 60’s. It is time for us to support each other and show that we care for a great cause in our society and at the same time show that we are now bold enough to follow the lead of other great clubs around the world. We do not have to be afraid to step into the spotlight for our great re- emergence. I draw a lot of comfort from MFC and DLand and we need to encourage more of our supporters out of their bunkers. I know that I Never Walk Alone as a MFC member and supporter.

I just listened to Tracc’s interview again he is quite inspirational I love the way he mentioned so many of the kids on the list and said how he is looking forward to playing with them in the future. You just know that you can trust him on and off the field, he and Rick might be the next leadership team when Max & Jack are ready to step aside. This kid and the current crop of players has helped re-kindle my emotions towards the Mighty Demons again. Thank you Christian Petracca for helping us love the game again.
