  1. Thanks WW , Saty and all other posters great reports greatly appreciated along with the sharp wits, reading this at work and people asking why I am laughing (to hard to explain Lol!!).
  2. Thanks Saty and all posters it is great to hear your Feed back and analysis plus interaction with the troops, not to mention the lighter side. Also fantastic that the Boys respected Roosey's wishes to work hard over the break. Go Dee's!!!
  3. Thanks WJ great read and greatly appreciated, what an exciting and sustained period of excellence for the MFC Players, Coaches and Supporter's, we can only dream. Go DEE's!!!
  4. Love Bernie, his youthful appearance and knock about character make him easy to like, he was really good for us until mid way through the year and trailed off in the latter stages of 2016 (thought that he had shin injury?) as his usual long accurate kicking let him down a bit. Always hard at it and hopefully will return in 2017 back to his best form. He has played head to head with some of the leagues best and held his own on most occasions. - Go Bernie!!!
  5. No Home Games at Etihad for us next year and less games there next year than previous 3 years , go figure. Only one triple header in lieu of usual 3-4? Go Dee's
  6. I missed most of the excitement about Jordan Lewis wanting to come to the Dee's, I was on a holidays and didn't have access to my mobile so it was a very pleasant surprise when we pulled into Darwin. I always rated JL but disliked him immensely, funny how you change when someone pulls on the Red & Blue, my feelings towards him changed completely. On our trip I also got to visit Milne Bay where Australians and US engineers combined to defeat the Japanese on the ground for the first time in WW2. the RAAF had a big hand in the ensuring defeat and expulsion of the Enemy forces, in particular No. 75 & 76 Kitty Hawk Squadrons. Keith "Bluey" Truscott was squadron Leader of the 76th after the former squadron Leader was K-I-A at Milne bay, so it was nice to visit the battle Field and drive down No.3 Airstrip where "Bluey" and the rest of the two squadrons had distinguished themselves so fearlessly in "hellish" conditions. Go Jordan, Go Dee's!!!!
  7. I have been starved for draft news as wife and I are on a cruise Perth to Brisbane just stopped into Cairns late this arvo. So very happy with the three pick ups my daughter texted me that Lewis might be on the cards but very happy with the end result. Sorry to see Lynden go but happy with end result. Go Dee's!!!
  8. TBH I was surprised when we took Oliver at 4 But can now see why Taylor rated him so highly, I like the rest of you on here believe that Clayton could be anything. Truly natural footballer with all the arrows in the quiver. Go Choo Choo!!!!
  9. Good on you Jordie we all applauded your efforts and determination, lacked the necessary support to improve those critical skills required to make it at AFL level, if he came through now he probably would have had a real chance to make it.
  10. Good on you Cam stood up really well in the Hawks win, let's hope he has a good 2017 for us. Go Dee's!!!
  11. I agree Billy 2803 - nothing would make me happier (in a footy sense) than to see Jack play 200 Games for the MFC and be a part of our Next Flag or So,....... Good Luck Jack !!!
  12. I have always been a big wrap for Lynden and he held our back line together over the past 3-4 years But the game changed this year and Dunny didn't or couldn't adapt to what the coaches needed from him. Mind you his thumping kick helped clear the ball out of our back line on a regular basis and I really miss this aspect of his game. Sad but Dunny and Col were some how superseded in 2016!!
  13. Welcome aboard Troy, lets hope that all opposing coaches find you very Offensive. Another good pick up by the Dee's!!!
  14. Lot of love for Dom and well deserved, is very good MFC player who has bought in. Would like to see stats included in each players Review. Go Dee's!!!
  15. Footy Show was better when he was involved, this year has been deplorable (iMHO). Good luck Gazz!!
  16. Although Robbo is already heavily involved with the Dee's, bit hard for Neita and Greeny as they are coaching other sides!!
  17. What Great News for us long suffering DEE's, we are getting our ducks in line just need to fill a couple of more spots and we are on the rise, Jesse feels it, we all feel it now Goody and team get the job done!! GO DEE's Yahoooooooooooo!! Wahooooooo!!! What a great start to the day!!!!!!!
  18. I was bought to tears watching the doggies post match, I will be a total basket case the day the Dee's Win our next Flag and I have a very good feeling about our current situation with Administration, FD, Supporters and List, just need to fill a couple of more spots and get Hogan in alignment with the rest of the team and we could be anything...!!! PS( I think that Tom Boyd answered his detractors yesterday as well, could easily have been the Norm Smith Medallist today)
  19. CB they have completed their List re-build, we are still building, still have several spots that we need to fill, remember most of our youngest players are not steeped in a losing culture, they are the ones along with Goodwin who will lead us to the Promised Land...!!!
  20. I thought that the Swans would over power them but got on board the Doggy Express several weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed the ride, they showed what can be achieved when everyone is on board and all the Administration, Supporters, FD & List are in total alignment and the team has the right mix of toughness, skill, enthusiasm and desire to achieve the unthinkable and they did just that...Almost Magical l!!!
  21. I agree never been so emotionally on board since Swans won in 2005 to break their 72 year drought. Loved the Dogs effort and toughness around the ball, I loved the way Beverage spoke and behaved after winning the big one almost Presidential, bought a tear to the eye. Loved every minute of the game, Swans were beaten but unbowed. I hope that our current batch of players were watching closely, anything is possible if you have the talent and the belief. Magical!!!
  22. Congratulations to all Scorpion and MFC Winners last night Great Effort from all and of course Justin and all support staff. Interestingly I heard Crossy on SEN on my way in to work last night and he was also pretty chuffed having played in a Premiership with Albury last week end, great effort!!
  23. Hi KC thanks for the updates any chance on getting Top 10 result. Go Scorps !!!
