Good on you Nathan Jones let's hope that we can get you to 300 games next year, you deserve the chance to get there not that it is guaranteed but Neita is a bit lonely at the 300 Club catch ups at MFC.....................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. The way the boy's handled the exit interviews, must have been pretty harsh and uncompromising in that room but not a negative response from any of the team members. We no longer leak like a sieve or are emotionally immature at least in the FD.
  3. What about May.....????????????????????
  4. Spargo showed signs that he could make the grade in 2018 but all at sea in 2019..................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. WOW that is quite bizarre, kick 14.14 and we win a couple more games, no wonder we are plumbing the depth's.
  6. 6 - Max, what a game 5 - Jack Viney 4 - Clayton 3 - Fritsch 2 - Tracc 1 - Frosty
  7. On a positive note Casey Dee's did a great job to be up there with the limited availability of Senior players. Well done Casey and well done to you KC, greatly appreciate your valued efforts during 2019.
  8. Well done Dee’s we really need to tweak our game plan and build up our players. I thought the Aints showed us up in several areas the last couple of times we played them. As posted previously there are more dominoes to fall at MFC and I for one like this change. Go Dee’s.!!!

I seriously doubt that Gary Pert and the powers that be will leave a single stone unturned at the MFC to ensure that there isn't a repeat of 2019. Get is done Gas.............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Another pre-season with Max will do wonders for thye big fella.
  13. Thanks KC. dd36 and all other posters, nearly kicked ourselves out of it. Well done Casey Dee’s. PS( drunkin67 hope all good for you and Dec I have enjoyed your posts)
  14. What are the conditions like KC do they have the breeze? Come on Casey!!
  15. Yes I will be renewing my membership, been a member for over 20 years and followed the club for nearly 60 years and got to see "The Good , The Bad and The Very Ugly" during this time. Last year was a revelation and we still have that core of players at the club, we need to bring in some top talent to help support these players.and continue to build quality depth around the club.

Maybe just maybe the mid field are getting ground down, they manage to dominate the hit-outs and inside 50's by a fair way only to see the Swans defense run the ball back out, add to that our inaccuracy in front of goal and the smallest forward line that I have ever seen in an AFL game along with Tracc playing in the ruck when Max went off. What was everyone expecting, the rain didn't come and the Swans kicked their most accurate score for the year, could not miss, we couldn't hit a chook in the bum with a hand full of wheat..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Half that team won't get a run when we have a full list to pick from, why continue beating yourselves up, sometimes you just have to be realistic, some of those players may not even be on the List next year, we are not always masters of our own destiny.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. 6 - Melksham 5 - Max 4 - Brayshaw 3 - Clarry 2 - Viney 1 - Tracc
  18. What about Melksham?
  19. The Pies supporters love a drubbing, the reason they didn't turn up was because of the atrocious weather conditions, not sure why we didn't turn up? although plenty of snow on the peaks, conditions may have contributed to our poor display of skills particularly our set shot -shots on goal where we kicked 5.7 to their 5.2. so we had ample opportunities to actually win the game but just not up to it on the day. After watching several other games over the weekend I found the skills of all teams in those conditions were hideously deplorable, missed targets missed kicks, poor handballs, fumbles, dropped easy marks, balls slewing off boots, etc. Sidebottom is one player that handles all conditions with aplomb, we need a Sidebottom type in our side. Unfortunately they are few and far between, always finds the ball and space to move in, we do not have one player of his calibre.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. 6 - Fritsch 5 - Tracc 4 - Salem 3 - Gus 2 - Max 1 - Clarry
  21. I thought that we broke even on the night, Tiges were very quiet until the third quarter, mind you we sit in an all Dee's area and the Jag was up for grabs.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Would be great to get to 70k over the next 5 years.!!!!!!!!
  23. Thanks Brendan, I for one feel confidant that we are a much better club for having your services over the past five years, so Dee's Onwards and Upwards, in the long term the Team will show the Doubters that we are not just a Flash in the Pan....................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. Went along with other family members to try and win a Jag but really enjoyed the first half of footy only three points in it at half time despite some very poor none decisions by umpires who have no feel for the game and I am getting more uncertain whether they know the rules or maybe I have just lost the plot. Once the rain came the Tiges played some great wet weather footy in the third and iced the game. Thought our boys fought hard all night but so many disposals just off the mark or kicked with to much hang time making it easy for them to spoil. We now have a really good core of players and I thought that Petty, Dunkley, JKH, Corey W and Oskar B also showed a bit (Dunkley can kick), add Marty Hore and Lockhart to that list and we have found a few this year. Just need to get our big guns back next year.
