Thanks DD our best players have improved apart from Max, Salem, Lever and Harmes who have all suffered injuries whilst our bottom eight have dropped off!!

That is very interesting DD, statistically we are identical to 2021, some players up some down but same output our DNA is strong just not getting the same results on the scoreboard or have other teams past us by??

I must admit that it is more enjoyable watching the game live than listening to the dumbed down TV commentary teams.

Not only were we outnumbered but had to put up with Pie supporting sitting in our Redlegs area. We applied for four additional Redlegs seats this year and we’re told that it was sold out? To make matters worse a lot of our regulars who sit near us did not show last night. It is very disappointing and having 45,000 booing our every touch of the ball gets really, really annoying and hearing them jeer every mistake and turnover and madly celebrating every little win they had made me even angrier, not to mention Cox’s dog act and umps turning a blind eye to some rough tactics that we would never get away with. To top it all off we dominated possession but could not buy a goal to save us. Grrrr….!!

Very hard sitting there tonight with that raucous booing mob of dingbats building to a crescendo as we wasted opportunity after opportunity. We are winning our share of the pill but just so wasteful going forward, backline and mids must be wondering what is the bloody point of all the effort to kick a bucket full of points or pick out their talls waiting to pick us off. Need to get another tall in there asap, we dominated possession yet got rolled by their slick ball movement and is there any chance that someone might pick up Sidebottom at some point in time. Not happy with the Magoos either.!!!!!!!

6 - Max ( could have won it for us) 5 - Clarry (not as clean as usual) 4 - Tracc ( had no influence in the last) 3 - Brown ( tried all night) 2 - Rick( only winner down back) 1 - JV ( tried all night but not great tonight) We need a tall forward who can take a mark and kick straight how many opportunities can we waste, Milkshake is not the answer. Our much vaunted backline broke down badly tonight when it mattered.

Would be very sorry to see him go he helped us achieve the Holy Grail in Footy, he is already a legend of our mighty club But if that is his desire then go forth and conquer Adem Oozze Yze.❤️💙✅

Don’t mind the one change as mentioned earlier reward for top effort, it will force Harmes and Bowey to work harder and stay sharp to force their way back in and likewise keep Melk and Hunt on their toes. Meanwhile van Rooyen and Thommo can keep playing great footy and be ready if needed.!!!

Thanks Demonstone that is a great read makes a lot of sense, I have wondered how they keep performing without top picks each year as mentioned Hawks did the same for 10 years cherry pick the cream of the crop once it is developed, don’t waste picks on kids that May or may not succeed. damn Cats.!!

Sam has lost all confidence at present and looks like he is second guessing everything that he does certainly not using his attributes to his or our advantage. Comeon Sam the clock is ticking and time and tide wait for no man.😢😪

If and it’s a big IF we could find a suitable replacement down back Harrison could fill TMacs shoes as he has big engine as well. I was surprised by how much Territory young Petty covers.

Has put a lot of time into his Studies, Golf and Podcasts as well. All round performer as well as being a champion player and human being.

Agree rjay one club has him and 17 others would love to have him but we don’t need anymore distractions running into the finals. Media are bored and disruptive.!!

Thanks DD there have been a lot of improvements this year JV and Gus the standouts along with Petty, ANB, LJ, Sparrow and JJ but we have a lot of drop offs as well - Lever, Kozzie, Salem, Harmes, Fritta, BBB and Tommo all down on last years form. So plenty of room for improvement. Go Dees. !!!!
