Pies have a very good list.😪

It’s funny saying this but I tend to study people pretty closely body language, expression how they interact with teammates, coaches and the enemy. I look at Bowey, Spargs, Sparrow and JVR they all ooze confidence and know they belong whereas I look at Laurie and to a lesser degree Jordon and they look less at home. They both need to step it up a lot, talk more catch the coaches eye be a bit more daring.!!!

I will really miss Gibby he added to our clubs family and human flavour I looked forward to his Gus and Gawny and after game segments with the players. It takes a lot of effort and good work to build that strong rapport with a playing group and supporters. It’s a bit like losing a friend.!!

Agree wwsw they have too much talent to miss the finals again, they pose a real threat to the competition and will shake up the top eight.!!

I am really warming to Brodie Grundy his responses to Matt Jefferson and now Will Verral are very encouraging.!!

And don’t forget Darren Jolley played in a granny with Swans.!!

Thanks Willy I appreciate those stats I imagine that all tallish recruits are put on specialist diets and a rigorous strengthening regime to help them get the most out of their opportunities. It will be interesting to see how Jefferson, Adams, Verral and Kyah progress over the next 12-18 months.!!

Glad that you fell our way a great story, who kicks 24 goals?? 186cm power forward if you are good enough could fill a niche role for us but will enjoy watching your exploits at Casey in any case. Looking forward to watching you develop with Kyah, under the tutelage of Max and Brodie. Personally I can now relax knowing that we have now nailed the areas of greatest weakness on the list. Welcome to the Dees Jed Adam’s, to me Adams appears a bit more mature than MJ and he mentioned that he had played ruck/forward as well. Looks like a great pickup by the recruiters. Feeling much better about the composition of our list now, just like another young ruck then go hard at the mids, flankers next year.

Thanks wwsw, hopefully once May, Lever, Petty and Turner get around him he will become a fully fledged Dee.!!!

Jeez he said his mum wouldn’t be happy if he had to move interstate, bloody hell.!!!

Anyone have any info on Jed Adams?

I wouldn’t put a limit on him but this year JVR had Mitch Brown and Weid sharing the forward line with him, I hope that we target another ruck/forward to share the load up forward with MJ at Casey.!!

Ha ha 6’5” to me feels taller than 195cm.!!

He kicked 7 against WA for Victoria, so he is no faint heart and he is to good looking to be compared with Hipwood. He isn’t Cadman who went No.1 but he is now ours and deserves some positivity and reassurance that he has been picked up because he is good enough and we wish him all the best.!!

Personally I am expecting to see Jefferson breaking into the team sometime in 2024 after two pre-seasons and building into a 6’5” 94-96kg strong marking straight kicking forward to support JVR. However that will depend on TMac and BBB’s ability to keep him out of the side. Loved the Jefferson family celebrations that he was coming to Dees, possibly helped by WCE not calling out his name.!!!

Just shows that Bombers are full of it and we’re never going to trade pick 4.!!!
