We take Parish at 3 which is an absolute lock. Essendon are big fans of Weideman, they want to stock up on another key forward to team up with Daniher for the next couple of years. With Carlisle now gone that really leaves then thin on talls. There is also a very good chance Francis goes to Essendon aswell. With Goddard coming towards the end of his career its a no brainer. Now dont rule out GC going for Milera at pick 6. They rate his class and outside work and given the loss of Harley Bennell this is also a no brainer. I am certainly sure thats another reason why they down graded aswell instead of using a high pick for him. Now with GC still stocked with forwards they see Peter Wright as the direct replacement for Charlie Dixon which then leaves us with selecting Charlie Curnow!

Mention in the Weideman thread that i think we need to stock up on a talented key forward because lets be quite honest.. eventually he will return home at some point in his career. We have 2 years with him as it currently stands so all we can do as a club is win as many games as possible and push for finals in the next couple of years.

I think quite obvious that Weideman if still available is a must pick at 7. Need another big key forward because lets be honest Hogan will eventually return back home to WA at some point in his career, so id rather stock up on a talented key forward now while we have the chance. Sam Skinner is another i wouldn't mind at one of our later picks.. 197cm key forward or back who was MVP for Vic Country in the under 16s. Did his knee this year but should be right for the start of pre season.

King is a couple of years away. Weideman is already a lot more physically mature than King.

Looking at his interview on the mfc website he actually looks to have a decent build on him that could potentially fill into a power forward. Obviously has enormous upside.

I dont care what he did at the tiges. I enjoy listening to him talk alot of sense compared to the NQR on here and Barrett aswell.

Plough wallace who i actually enjoy listening to has been very big wraps for our club ever since he made Barratt look silly on the Dom Tyson trade. Most of his stuff is actually well worth listening too.
