Oliver definitely didn't have a pre season at all due to OP. This is why i am excited by his upside. Killed the TAC cup with no fitness base whatsoever.Imagine him under a full AFL pre season.

Nathan Freeman is about one in a blue moon.. i have thought seriously about it and there isn't no one else i can think off.

Essendon would jump at Parish and Oliver in a heartbeat. They are in dire need of midfield class and depth.

I think something has been leaked from the club because all the experts have now said in the past 24 hours that we will select Oliver. With only 2 more sleeps this is around the time where we start to hear who could go where.

Absolutely not.I think he is a massive risk full stop. He has had 2 bouts of ankle surgery in 12 months which is not good at all. The fact he has had a poor tank all throughout his career is another reason why i dont want especially now the game is all about work rate and gut running both ways.

Hows this for a scenerio.. Lets say we pick Oliver at 3 and all of a sudden Essendon go cold on Parish and he slides out to 7. Would you still select him and go the Oliver/Parish combo with the grunt and class or go for a tall still?

At the time i thought to myself it was very interesting that we showed interest in him because he was just starting to come into top 10 calculations and i still thought no way would we select him at 7.
