  1. An absolute machine. Thought pre game who was going to stand up and fill in Tysons class and smarts around the ball. Well Vanders put his hand up and blew me away.
  2. What a ridiculous and stupid statement.
  3. Both absolute campaigners. Should not be allowed within 5km near the footy club. It does seem we are going down the same path as Freo.
  4. Roosy love it.
  5. UF i know who you are talking about.Thats pretty cool.
  6. Wasn't having a go at you mate just stating a fact that some AFL clubs get educated on this..
  7. They do.They are educated on this kind of stuff now days. Every club has that couple of over obsessed fan who put their heart and soul into the club. Its basically a respect and polite manner attitude in front of these supporters.
  8. That flakey Richmond had an AA defender who had never been in a contest this year and is demanding 700k a year. What more do you want?
  9. Whilst i agree with majority of what you said i disagree about the comparison of Scully and Hogan in terms of what they see in the culture.Scully and Hogan are two miles apart from each other in terms of personality. We all know Scully was less impressed with the way some of the boys carried on getting on the turps. Scully was as intense and serious about his football as anyone. This is a guy that has never touched a single drop of alcohol. He was so footy obsessed and driven to succeed at all cost. I also heard some of his teamates didn't know how to take him as he came across as a bit weird and a loner. While we all know Hogan is a competitive beast who is also driven to succeed he is also a very laid back character. The hype and expectations doesn't seem to faze him one bit. Loves his surfing and playing Xbox in his downtime. And i know some people have seen him out and about on a weekend so i highly doubt that if the club had a culture of party boys he would leave just because of that. If he did leave (god help us all..) it would mainly be for Family and money obviously. All that Hoo Ha party stuff wouldn't faze him to be honest
  10. Rightio mate
  11. I mentioned Bail because of the Half forward role he played last year which now Vanders has taken. He spreads hard, has pace, forward pressure, tackles hard. No difference mate. Except Vandenberg is better.
  12. Richo is 198cm so of course he looks like he has that bit of extra height..
  13. Said it before that he reminds me of Max Rooke in that he was that fierce half forward who would just crash into packs and provide huge forward pressure. Massive unit. He is the reason Rohan Bail cannot break into the team.
  14. As i metioned earlier on he has shown alot in one game then a 'certain player' who plays a similar position to Vandenberg. With this player coming out of contract out at years end i find It very hard to see him surviving if Vanders keeps playing like this.See what i did there Baghdad Bob?
  15. Thank you.Keep forgetting some are a bit sensitive here..
  16. Put your football hat for a second and tell where else you can see Bail play other then half forward... that half forward was his role last year and Vanders has that role stiched up already.
  17. No it doesn't please me. But its the truth. That half forward role that Bail has been playing has now been taken by Vandenberg. He made such a big contribution in that one game more then Bail in his whole career. I like Bail but if you cant see that he is finished your delusional.
  18. He just ended Rohan Bails career.
  19. "I felt sorry for them" "They are such professionals" "soft spot for them now"
  20. Speaking of Magner what an absolute [censored] that bloke is.If anyone have read his recent HS article you will know why.
  21. The boys love him and is very well respected amongst coaching staff and playing. His playing style yesterday reminded me so much of Max Rooke who use to be that battering ram half forward who just puts enormous pressure on forward stoppages and also that physicality that he could run through the contest. Several times he ran from the half forward line into the center to put a body on the contest in the center bounces. Again a huge lad!
  22. Solid lad alright.Just needs a bit more conditioning and he will be a serious unit for a midfielder.
  23. Happened right before the 2012 under 18s championships. After his last game for SA he had the operation.
  24. The feeling i got from her sister and the way she explained was basically Melbourne had their sights on Toumpas all along. They made the odd call here and there to Wines but didn't show the desperate interest like Hawthorn and St Kilda.Port said that if he was still available they would select him as they rated him top 3. They were gobsmacked and ecstatic he fell through. They really did think he was heading to the Dees.. The Wines family were devastated he was going interstate especially to Port after the off season drama. Ollie was too. He really did want to play for the Dees. The Wines Family and Ollie are now extremely delighted with how its pan out now. Port are a family club and cant speak highly enough of Koshie and Hinkley. Dont expect him to return back home anytime soon.
  25. The fact is the papers were writing what an absolute combo Wines and Viney would make to our midfield. We were lacking in the inside midfield department and we all could see that. I remember at the time i made a comment that i could see Wines being our Dustin Martin. He was AFL ready and at the time we needed that.. Todd Viney got this one wrong not Neeld.
