  1. Dont think Kobe is rated as highly as many think. Didn't get selected for any state under 16 selection and doesn't look like he will be playing state footy this year.
  2. What i learnt out of reading that is Connelly and Schwab are next level [censored]! Glad that they'll never set foot in this football club ever again.
  3. Argh!! [censored] ANB gets another gig! Joke! While we are at it lets run Gawn to the grown by playing the sole ruckman.
  4. Stretch and both Wagner doing the captains run right now. No Sparrow or May.
  5. I have never been one to criticize this bloke, but happy to see Dave Misson out at the end if the year.
  6. @binman whats the point covering all this territory if he is making absolutely no impact whatsoever? Yes he clocks up the Kms, but that doesnt excuse his fumbles or lack of ability to keep his feet. He fumbles even in the 1st qtr of games? If he is doing that so early of the game from running around then he is cooked for the rest of the game, and that already putting us at an disadvantage. All good and well to clock up 17km per game, but fits into the bracket of running around like a headless chook. Has no hurt factor whatsoever and will kick your 2 to 3 goals against sides like Gold Coast or Carlton. When it comes to the big teams, he has little to no effect whatsoever. The Sooner Goodwin wakes up and drops him the better.
  7. Give me an inconsistent Jeff Garlett any day over a fumbly no impact Alex Neale Bullen.
  8. What a fat [censored].
  9. There was talk that he didn't come back in suitable condition. I think even May has admitted this on record also.
  10. One player that i have completely forgotten about. We talk about speed and dash along the outside and Oskar is exactly that type of player we desperately need. Anyone know how he has been performing down at Casey during the practice games?? I also really believe he is the type of player that would thrive more at AFL level then VFL due to open space rather the congestion of VFL level.
  11. What a stupid thread.
  12. Got to get Lever and May on the park first before we settle our backline. While i am confident that will happen o also have my doubts with Levers body.
  13. He roughed up and crunched Joel Selwood a couple of times. Thats enough for me to deserve another game next week.
  14. Speaking of depth, poor Dom Tyson is copping a pasting from North supporters on bigfooty.
  15. Its a bizzare comment... and a disgrace to even put Jones in the same bracket as Grimes. I thought Jones played well last night. I still feel he can add to our inside on ball brigade at times though.
  16. Be interesting to see how Brayshaw pulls up. Will be a light week for him with lots of icing up and stationary bike work.
  17. Not sure if Kobe Farmer is rated as highly as what we thought he did.
  18. Does this have anything to do with Nathan Buckley?
  19. Maybe not wasting 1st round draft picks on defenders would be a start. Go to the draft and continue to stock up on midfield depth like an outside runner with a bit of speed and another zippy small forward. Lewis will finish this year, does that mean the need to bring in an experience head to continue that role on a leadership point of view? Roughead? Kade Simpson just as an example.
  20. I'm glad people on here are starting to realise just how much of a dud ANB is.. its only taken some of you 2 years to finally take notice.
  21. Who and where these players exactly? Its easy for anyone to say we should just cash in and recruit these superstar forwards, but right now the cupboard is bare in terms of quality you are looking for. Some need to get use to the reality that Weideman is not going to be in the same bracket as Hogan in terms of being physically ready to go from day dot. Weids still has plenty of physical development to go. Just remember he is only 21 years old and just ticked over 22 career games... let thst sink in a little.
  22. Absolutely they were. We used the footy like it was a wet soap. But to single Petracca out as someone who had the fumbles was and is just silly. Our whole squad was fumbly the whole night, not just Trac.
  23. That was actually Todd Viney who did that. I must admit i thought at the time it was the wrong choice to choose Green as a captain. He was a very selfish footballer.
  24. Jesse Hogan doesn't have mongrel but he will be a bloody good forward for many years to come. I genuinely believe Weideman has the potential to emulate the same way Josh Kennedy career has. I love the way Kennedy goes about his business. He's not the mongrel forward like a Carey or Brereton, but it doesn't stop him crashing into packs and using his solid frame to his advantage. Something Weideman will start to realise once he fills out.
  25. Yes. Not sure whats that got to do with an AFL captain being dropped?
