I did like Goody moving Petracca into the middle. We do forget he was a beast midfielder at TAC level. I'd love for Tracca to start getting some qaulity midfield minutes over the next couple of weeks.

Question is if Smith and Wagner come back firing mid year along with Hibberd then where does that leave Vince?

It wasn't an emotional response pickett. Im repeating myself here but his form has been like this for the past 8 months. I have always loved Vince but for a experienced campaigner he just coffs it up far too oftern down back.

If he keeps playing the way he did today then why should he be kept on the list next year? This isn't about this one game today. Its been going since midway through last year where his form has dropped. He looks cooked and slow. As i have mentioned just before once Brayshaw Wagner Smith and Hibberd are all up and firing then questions will be asked of Bernies place in the team. The first 2 names i have mentioned are future players and if he is holding one of them back then its a big worry. He will be 32 next year and won't be getting any younger. His got a big 18 weeks coming up.

Im starting to think whether Tyson is overrated. His disposal by foot is simply horrific. Other then turning it over i dont see any other stand out attributes that will say he can become an elite mid.

Another game and another week at selection where you simply shake your head. Weideman and Hannan should not have played. Can't keep rewarding blokes who have coasted for a couple of weeks. Smith should have stayed in or if not Smith then bring in Pedersen. Goody and the selection committee need a good hard look at themselves.

He might be in our best 22 but il be very surprised if he is on our list next year. Is he keeping someone like a Brayshaw out? perhaps, but his form has deteriorated since the 2nd half of last year. He'll still get his 25 disaposal game this year but pace of the game and the need to slide in the likes of Brayshaw Smith Wagner into the line up will really have to come into play.

When you put a 21 year old as a captain and expect him to lead 44 blokes during the week and 22 on game day then of course he he is going to feel great expectation and pressure. The thing is the players voted and he wasn't even the players choice. Goodwin came in and gave him the captaincy. Said it at the time it was a very poor decision by the club. We should have learnt from past mistakes with Grimes and Trengove but obviously not. Still shaking my head at this..

Weideman needs to spend the next 10 weeks at Casey and develop his craft there. If we are fair dinkum about playing finals then Pedersen is a better option. Cannot continue to throw the kid to the wolves and expect to make an impact.

Weideman 1 disposal is simply not good enough. Hope this game isn't lost at the selection table.
