He was touted last year along with Parish to go high in this years draft. The reason why he has dropped is because he didn't have a good champions like he did last year according to the draft experts. But Tucker definitely was talked about a top pick last year.
  2. Thought i read somewhere that in an under 16s grand final Joel kicked something like 9 goals?

Last year he was touted as a potential number 1 draft pick. Fell away a bit this year but if the talls are taken before pick 7 id happily jump at the opportunity on this kid. Hard as nails Half back / midfielder who had a 15.3 beep test and provides run and carry off a half back with his neat disposal. Id probably compare him to Christian Salem. Will eventually turn into a midfielder and i know Roos has a big emphasis on players who can be versitile and play in multiple positions. Captained North Ballarat rebels in the under 18s game and also Australia in the VFL game so he has huge leadership credentials. Also something i found very interesting was i just read the AFL going places that Callum Twomey does and it stated that in the article it talks about him coming out of the meeting getting a fair wack from his with alot of recruiters for his performance as a captain in the VFL game was ordinary. So feeling down and dejected Jason Taylor could see he was upset and pulled him aside and gave him some words of encouragement and to keep his head up and focus on next week. Thought it was very good of Taylor and shows the qaulity in the bloke we have.
  4. I think quite obvious that Weideman if still available is a must pick at 7. Need another big key forward because lets be honest Hogan will eventually return back home to WA at some point in his career, so id rather stock up on a talented key forward now while we have the chance. Sam Skinner is another i wouldn't mind at one of our later picks.. 197cm key forward or back who was MVP for Vic Country in the under 16s. Did his knee this year but should be right for the start of pre season.
  5. King is a couple of years away. Weideman is already a lot more physically mature than King.
  6. Looking at his interview on the mfc website he actually looks to have a decent build on him that could potentially fill into a power forward. Obviously has enormous upside.
  7. Welcome to melbourne Joel. Definitely looks 193cm.

Think of a smaller Angus Brayshaw/Nick Dal Santo in terms of he is a footballer first before athlete. Can play inside and outside, his first 20m is quick off the mark. Not your typical soft outsider as i have seen him burrow under packs and use his quick hands and smarts to get him out of traffic. In saying that though i have no doubt that he will start his career as a wingman and we'll see that outside dash and polish we lack big time. Also has the ability to go back and become the number 1 distributer off a half back due to his precise disposal.
  10. I will forever love this guy if he knocks out one Jeremy Howe in the opening 5 minutes in the QB clash.
  11. Agree please prove me wrong. He is a Melbourne player now so he has my full support. I must admit i actually feel sorry for him. Cops a fair wack from bummers supporters on twitter and instagram then i head to our MFC twitter feed and he is still cops a wack from our own dkhead supporters soon as he gets to a new club. Seriously what do idiots get out of abusing players on social media these days. Pull your heads in.
  12. TRELOA IS NOT COMING!!Dont understand why some on here seriously cannot understand the fact that Treloar will simply not play for us. Gubby Allen is just trying to be a grub and play hardball. He will get to Collingwood and no one else. Forget about Treloar he has no interest in the Melbourne Football Club at all. Stop trying to believe in fairytales. Reminds me of how some seriously believe Danger was going to be a Demon as early as last week. Fmd
  13. Im pretty sure Trades can still continue?
  14. Surely has to be Pickett..
  15. He would be proud. Unfortunately the nutjob who wrote it isn't something to write home about it though..
  16. And your one of the biggest waste of oxygen thiefs on here but everyone already knew that. Now [censored] off back to that hole you crawled out of chimp
  17. Of course you can have faith in someone and not agree with some decisions. Its called Human nature. At times Roos has made mistakes and decision that many have not agreed with but does that mean we should jump off the bandwagon? Absolutely not. Alot of poeple here didn't want Lumumba and yet thats still been a ordinary decision. But i have absolute faith where Roos is taking the club forward and been nothing short of a lifesaver us supporters.Your becoming the new Saty.. any hint of criticism and your in the front foot with your head up your ass. I dont agree with the decision. Simple.. now get over it.
  18. You have no faith in Roos.. how dare you!!
  19. Old mate einstien with the pathetic cheap shot.I have absolute faith in Roos in what he has and doing for this club. But this decision me and many other supporters don't agree with. But i don't expect an individual like yourself to work out why.
  20. Baffling decision.. But why am i not surprised.
  21. Hopefully not a tagger. Bring him in and tell him to play on instinct. Looking at his under 18s game he does show alot of serious potential as an attacking mid. I personally think Essendon have tried to turn him into a player he is not. I hope he starts racking up big numbers in the midfield because for us to move forward its guys like Melksham that needs to go up a gear.
  22. Its laughable the two comparisons with Vince and Melksham. Vince actually had done something noteworthy in his career before coming to us, winning a best and fairest and being in the All Australian nomination. Not only that, he proved he was a noted ball winner aswell. In his 114 afl career Melksham has averaged 16 disposals and not once in his career has he ever hit the 30 disposal mark. For a midfielder thats played that many games and 24 years old thats a poor effort. He would wanna put in a big pre season this summer pull his finger out because we are currently the laughing stock of the AFL for picking him up on a 4 year deal work 400k a year.. Goody and Mcartney need to nail this one.
  23. Poor disposal and decision make. Very inconsistent.
