He got dropped after the Gold Coast simply because he was missing targets 20m in front of him. He was poor that day.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
Lol he was ordinary wasn't he.. Came in as a bargain recruit after a impressive career at Essendon only to spud it up with us.

To prove how poor his Jayden Hunt call was these were the players selected after Hunt at pick 57.. James Sicily was taken at pick 56 which was out of our control. Nat Fyfe
Is it me or does anyone else get quite shitty when we are never mentioned as a club interested when it comes to big name players. Even with Hurley we hear bits here and there but nothing else. I understand club maybe wants to keep a low profile but most of the time it ends up that we are never in the hunt with most of the big name players that get mentioned. You'll always hear us chasing the Melkshams and the Hibberds but personally they dont excite me at all.

Since when does offering the captaincy have anything to do with Fyfe coming to Melbourne? Fyfe will only come to Melbourne because he will see us as a genuine premiership contender and achieve great success in the next couple of years. Has absolutely jack [censored] to do with the captaincy. For all we know the Freo players dont rate his leadership at all.. So what that say really.

And it was necessary was it? You have already admitted on he you go out your own way to bait others just to get a reaction. Do that out in the public eye and would get your head caved in old man. There was no need for it and you dam well know that.

My god you are seriously a disgrace. No one could ever have an honest and fair opinion around without you putting them down. Every new person would be turned off simply because of the fact you knife anyone who wants to share a legit opinion. King has had 3 years in the AFL system yet he is just coasting around in the development league. Max Gawn came off a knee reco and played 4 games in just his 2nd year. It wouldn't have worried me if King was stringing together some promising games but the fact that he has been dropped down to the development league after poor performance is not a good sign at all. Jake Spencer missed on the weekend due to injury and Casey preferred Oscar McCirniey for the number 1 ruck role. Sorry but my bet is King will be delisted.

Thread needs more Billy Love!! How was the roar when Billy dashed through the middle inside 50 and nailed the goal. Future 200 game player is our little Billy!

Billy Stretch Appreciation Thread
If there was a big positive out of yesterday in a pretty dull full of sloppy errors its Billy Stretch. Its ridiculous how clean, calm and poise he is under extreme pressure while other more experienced players crumble under the pressure. His gut running and spread is a highlight and shows the incredible workrate that he has. We rave about Petracca Oliver and Brayshaw but Stretch should be talked amongst those guys as he is very underrated and goes about his business in a quite way. Keep up the good work Billy!

The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan
For someone who who is having 2nd year blues yet has only played 31 games and 21 years old he is well on his way to 50 goals this year. Some of the comments are harsh.. He is still developing as a player and has a lot to learn in regards to defensive side of things but that will come with more maturity and experience. Hogan is going just fine.

Lynden Dunn
Mind boggling.. How the hell do we just pretend to rest our backline experience on Tom McDonald who has been pathetic this year. So dam obvious that with Garland out we need at least another experienced defender.

AFL need to look into Rhys Mathieson!
The ANB spray is one of the all time best! Gave him an absolute bath

The youngest most inexperienced side
Must be embarrassing being a lion's supporter knowing your team was beaten by a TAC cup team.

AFL need to look into Rhys Mathieson!
I never said that. I said if the AFL don't look into it and investigate then he WILL get away with it every week.
-
AFL need to look into Rhys Mathieson!
AFL should investigate or at least ask for a pleasr explain otherwise he will continue to get away with it every week. Drops his knees at every opportunity and sucks the umps in at all costs. Add him to the most punchable heads too..

The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan
Club would have given him a program to tick off while in Perth whether its a gym session or light run. Take into account that its an 8 day break and our main Training session isn't till friday morning. Its not the players calling the shots Curry its Roos Goody and PJ who are calling these shots. Billy Stretch also went back home to SA after the game on Sat night mate.

Yes it is worth mentioning because its proof just how good our club manages our young players and the culture we are building. Be proud of the club for once in the way we look after our young talent. Its stuff like this the club does that will build that bond and relationship and players wanting to stay.
