  1. Getting Leppa would be a massive coup. The key architect to Richmond's last two premierships.
  2. Jesus christ Chook where the [censored] have you been? Don't you dare disappear on us again! Bring more of these zingers please!
  3. Randomly looking through North's bigfooty page and saw this.. Someone rang up Adelaide radio yesterday saying he’s spoken to Jared’s brother who had told him Jared was going to be traded to Melbourne.
  4. Thanks to @Lucifer's Hero for the article. I think what's telling in that whole article is that Alan Richardson position is not safe at all. Though seeing as he is a former teammate and friend of Gary Pert I cannot see him getting cut. Some interesting names that appear to get new contracts. The likes of Hibberd, Spargo, and Lockhart all look set to get new deals.
  5. Can someone pm me the article too please.
  6. Can someone give a brief summary of the article please..
  7. Tom Morris informed before on Fox Footy that Jack Viney's management have advised Geelong that he will not be going there as as Jack has agreed to a contract extension.
  8. Lĺ Yep, would have easily played more games if it wasn't for his shoulder injury.
  9. Fantastic news! Stoked to see what Petty can do with a full pre season as a tall forward.
  10. But yet you still find the need to reply, and question their sources? If you didn't take it for granted, then why reply? I mean its no different to you coming on here and rambling on how much insight you have into Paddy McCartin because you apparently you know the family well.. Up to the individual whether theu want to believe or not. Don't think they need to be criticised for it though DD.
  11. according to Tom Morris on the trade chat, we've had preliminary interest in Ben Brown alongside St Kilda.
  12. Pickett, finishing 7th in the best and fairest in a bottom 4 club isn't exactly a glowing endorsement on Frost. If he was as good as you've made him out to be there why didn't he finish top 4? Watched several Hawthorn games this year and he has not improved one bit. Was poor and butchered the footy majority of the game. One prime example was against saints when Hawthorn had all of the momentum in the last quarter and he took a kicked out, sprinted 25m and kicked it straight to a St Kilda player who kicked a goal and took all of Hawthorn's momentum away and cost them a potential win. Its no coincidence that after trading Frost out our defence was the best its been for years. Average player at best.
  13. Come to the Dees Smitty! Sounds like he's genuinely torn. I must admit though, I am happy to read that even experienced players like Smith sees great potential on our list moving forward. Had we had Smith playing with us this year i have no doubt we'd be playing finals.
  14. https://coupler.foxsports.com.au/api/v1/article/amp/afl/afl-trade-news-rumours-whispers-2020-jack-viney-geelong-isaac-smith-melbourne-demons-updates-tom-morris/news-story/c3e09490ae2a954c0fdf3f4b07201787?__twitter_impression=true At Hawthorn, Isaac Smith is considering a two-year contract offer that includes a simple trigger for a third season. Sources believe the durable 31-year-old is close to putting pen to paper on the deal. If he does, it would force the Demons to look elsewhere for another outside ball-winner. Rival clubs believe unrestricted free agent Smith is more likely to stay.
  15. Looks like you're on the money here. https://coupler.foxsports.com.au/api/v1/article/amp/afl/afl-trade-news-rumours-whispers-2020-jack-viney-geelong-isaac-smith-melbourne-demons-updates-tom-morris/news-story/c3e09490ae2a954c0fdf3f4b07201787?__twitter_impression=true Meanwhile, Geelong has not been officially notified but senses Jack Viney will re-sign at Melbourne on a long-term deal. Demons insiders are now supremely confident the hard-nosed midfielder will remain as negotiations continue between his agent Tom Petroro and the club. It’s understood Viney’s preference is to stay and Melbourne has raised its offer since initial
  16. Was more talking about Malthouse from his Carlton days.
  17. Clarkson is washed up. Going down the same path as Sheedy, Malthouse Pagan where the game has caught up to them and they haven't moved with the times. Clarkson has left the Hawks list in a mess.
  18. Much rather keep ANB and get rid of Melksham.
  19. Wasn't it mentioned on this board a while ago that he had apparently signed for next year? Forgot who mention it though..
  20. The 10 players who will shape WAFL colts finals Taj Woewodin (East Fremantle) Woewodin is the young man who needs to step up in the absence of gun midfielder Jack Carroll, just like he did late against Swan Districts. The son of Brownlow medallist Shane was a welcome addition to the Sharks’ line-up for the final home-and-away round after his PSA commitments with Aquinas College finished up. He is a strong leader, a classy ball user by foot and can play across half-back or in the midfield. Has been named on-ball, but is likely to rotate with starting half-back flanker Finn Gorringe.
