  1. Welcome back Bull! Loved him as a player. Competitive and hard, body just let him down unfortunately.
  2. A part of me think this probably needs to be the case. After last years review, I was shocked that the likes of Chaplin, Plapp, Rooke were all kept on as assistants. I don't rate any of them.
  3. I've lost faith in him.
  4. Chazz, I agree with everything you've said. This whole recruiting Mitch Brown simply does not make sense if we are refusing to to play him. I would rather have just recruited a developing key forward and spend that last senior spot on that kid. If not then let's use Brown as a tall marking target. Even if its going to relieve McDonald for the time being. Instead the biggest glaring weakness right now is our tall forwards, and yet we have 2 who are currently playing park football on a Sunday morning. The current list management and coaching of late is mind boggling.
  5. I wanted Casboult 2 years ago when he was on the scrap heap and was up for trade. Got howled down for it. As you say, best hands in the comp and would have taken an extra big body to relive McDonald and Weideman at the time. He won't win you game, but he's a hard working competitor.
  6. Unfortunately we are not an attractive destination.. I look at a club like Collingwood that is in need of a key forward and I know who id much rather prefer to play with.
  7. No we didn't.
  8. Ffs I would love a thread that isn't just clogged up with mess by the same certain individual every single time. Started a Charlie Cameron thread, turns into how we need a Daniel Talia in our side.. because you know he's the missing link to our success....
  9. Yes he is. An old fashion lock down defender. Bizarre suggestion by MFM to be bluntly honest.
  10. Just like Jezza and Daniher. They too will command big money. And yes I did mean that lol ???

apparently is happy with Brisbane's recent offer. Again, Carlton and North are the two clubs that have shown interest. We would be absolute crazy to at least enquire. https://7news.com.au/sport/afl/multiple-afl-clubs-make-inquiries-on-brisbane-lions-star-charlie-cameron-c-1132896.amp?__twitter_impression=true
  12. Get Bennell in!
  13. We are the AFL's [censored]. And we just sit back and cop it in the ream end so easily.
  14. Tough nut too, love his attack on the ball and man. Perfect Hibberd replacement.
  15. Rivers made errors, but didn't drop his head and continued to take the game on. He stays. He is someone who just have to get games into. Along with Pickett.
  16. Pickett and Rivers for me. Yes Rivers made some mistakes but didn't drop his head and continued to take the game on.
  17. We sure do attract them.... ADMIN EDIT: CONFIRMED

How is he being negative? It's a legit question that needs to be asked? I mean last I checked he works for the media am I wrong?
  19. Vanders looked slow and someone who had been out of the game for years. I'd give him 4 weeks of just playing scratch matches and get some form up. He was so underdone. Going by the Bennell theory then Vader's will be an out. It is simple as that. If he is not then it makes the Bennell omission even more confusing. Ins: Weideman/ANB Out: Vanders We have fit blokes there are there Goodein, [censored] pick them.

Saw this by Garry Lyon and I too have been perplexed why all of a sudden he's spending a lot more time on the bench? I felt like out of all our midfielders, he was someone who was clean with the ball and made an impact on the scoreboard. I just don't know why instead of just leaving him on the bench we try him up forward? Melksham is giving us nothing and I find that Gus just shows class when he pushes up forward. https://www.sen.com.au/news/2020/06/28/its-got-me-absolutely-flummoxed-what-is-going-on-with-angus-brayshaw/
  21. This is exactly how I would line up. But as you say we'll never see this happen.
  22. Injury has played a part in that. Against GC he was back to his best playing a good lead up option around the forward half. Something that's currently non existent at our club..
  23. Harmes played mid yesterday.
  24. I was asking someone a question thanks. I have my own opinion on this.
  25. I have no idea. Have said all along his best position is floating high half forward that can deliver precisely into our forward line. Goodwin saw this as a success in 2018 and then back half of 2019. Yet his stubbornness has got the better of him again... Who exactly is our forwards coach? Plapp? Chaplin?
