  1. How do you know this?
  2. Now it's you getting personal Lude.. don't be a hypocrit now.. You are struggling to understand the simple concept of what I am trying to get at 'Luded'.. The Dane Swan response was all about how not having a ripped physic like you want, means that they are not going to make it as footballers. You're pointing out Oliver and Brayshaw as guys that need to work harder on their body shape. Swan is an example of why sometimes not having a pro AFL standard body will equel to poor performances. You pointed out Alex Neal Bullen as a prime example... which was quite laughable, as @Demonland pointed out, just because he's got the prototype body doesn't mean that's given him much success. In fact 99.9% would much rather take Oliver the way he is right then a Alex Neal Bullen. Answer me this mate, (which you still haven't after i have given you an example used by Brendan McCartney). Give me some real honest facts on why you think Oliver needs to lose weight?
  3. "And your happy to have that culture, of binge-ing amongst your group.?" Nothing personal at all from my end at all 'Luded'.. I'm just sick of people who make up things along the way to give people like yourself a reason to pot blokes like Oliver because according to you, he doesn't have a pro AFL body.. c'mon man that is one of the most bizarre things said. Yes I would understand if he had poor work ethic and questionable training habits, but he doesn't. He's a dedicated young footballer who is wanting to be the best that he can be. His training and off field work is first class. There is no love from my end mate. I am just saying your wrong. There are far more bigger issues at our club right now then Oliver and Brayshaw.
  4. You're wrong.
  5. Oh so now our players are 'binge-ing'.. again you're just making up things along the way and it's not healthy and incredibly harsh on the likes of Clayton Oliver who I'll take Brendan McCartney word over yours that he is one of the hardest working young players on our list over your "they're bingeing" or "Oli has a long way to go with his body shape blah blah blah". You're looking for reason to pot these blokes. This has nothing to do with culture at all mate. This is going around in circles 'Luded'. Time to end it at that.
  6. Oh dear....... ?‍♂️
  7. And what your saying is Oliver and Brayshaw don't do enough gym work because they don't have the AFL pro standard body? You've said some ridiculous things over the time 'luded', but this is right up there. And I do laugh how a a pro physic body is the standard to becoming a great AFL player in your case..
  8. Then what is the issue? Oliver is in great physical nick and has worked extremely hard off field at his training. There are still things club needs to get right, the boys off field training and gym is not one of them.
  9. No i did not assume that. But the days of being in the gym and stacking on massive amounts of muscle are gone. Youre still stuck in the 90s mentality on players needing to have the bigger biceps then the next team. It does not work like that anymore. Midfielders especially need to be at a lean level to be able to run out games. They're still able to maintain their strength, but running out games at a much longer level. Oliver and Brayshaw are very good at this. And how do you know the club had not set highest standards physically Martin? Did the pre season doco not prove to you that pre season was probably the hardest they've ever worked in Burgo? Players have been on record this year so far saying that this pre season was by far the physically and mentally challenged they've ever done. Ed Langdon who came from the Ross Lyon program said it was his hardest by far.. not bad huh. Again you making this assumption on the back of one merely photo and no facts or information.
  10. Good to see you haven't changed one bit Dee-luded. You must have missed the part where Oliver undertook a strict rigid training regime after his first year that resulted him losing 6 kilos which then translated into a stunning year of him winning a best and fairest at 19 years of age. Or when him and Sam Weideman decided to challange themselves in the off season by doing extra 100 laps of the pool in their days off. This notion of 'Oli' needed to do extras is purely crap. Ask Brendan McCartney what he thinks of Oliver, and he will tell you he's the most hard working and competitive beast he has seen since Joel Selwood. You make these ridiculous assumptions based pictures that you see on the internet. Oliver body shape is just fine.
  11. Well played LN, I'm happy to throw in a few expletives just to get the crowd on the edge. Unfortunately I will be signing out of here for a while now while footy is off limits. I have too much going on in my personal life that's taking a real toll on me, and i need to now focus on my young family and extended who are battling right at this minute. Let's all try and be kind to each other, the world is in pain right now and we need to do the right thing and take care of our love ones. To many who I have had heated exchange over the journey, i do apologise, especially you @Satyriconhome you crazy old ba stard ? don't take it personally, we're all passionate about the greatest team ever. Much love demonland family, see you all when the footy starts!
  12. Could have easily kicked 4 indeed. Only one up forward who looked threatening.
  13. Sorry Pickett but clarry was disgraceful. I watched 3 WC players casually stroll out of our defence while he just casually jogged towards them. Lazy and poor all day. His attitude needs a huge ego check. He carries on like a spoilt brat and he's been carrying that from his bushies days. This is the time for Gawm to earn his points and pull him back into line.
  14. Oscar beat Darling. Harsh
  15. Pickett, Viney, Lockhart and Bedford were the positives.. Where was our leaders? McDonald, Jetta, Melksham? Hibberd is finished, see ya. And im afraid to say, but Jetta is just about cooked. ANB and Spargo are dead set suburban footballers.
  16. When Bedford is already bettee player then Spargo and ANB.
  17. Spargo ?‍♂️
  18. Wow.. I have stuck up for Spargo all these years but he'sdone it for me now.
  19. Hurry up and retire Hibberd
  20. Fumble fumble fumble fumble.. we seriously live for that [censored]
  21. Say what u want about the guy, but Naitanui is a bloody good ruckman.
  22. Jesus Brayshaw is a massive disappointment. Id easily be happy if we used him as a trade option come end of year.
  23. Hibberd is the Brent Moloney of the backline. Just booooommbbs away every single kick.
  24. That was biggest [censored] weak of a chase by Oliver
  25. Im sorry but the Harmes down back experiment simply does not work. Get him in the [censored] midfield Goodwin
