Back. Goes missing far too often when playing up forward. Snags the odd goal here and there but that's about it.

Spot on.

If he was 26 then i would be all for it. But he will be 30 next year and if we are just bringing him in for depth only then I'd like at Josh Walker who is still only 26 years of age, solid body and someone who has had an impact up forward and back.

We've decided not to pursue Murray.

It didn't upset me Bob. I have far worse things in life that upsets me. Not old mate captain obvious. Goddard is only telling us what majority of supporters have seen all of 2019 and even when Hogan left, a few on here also had concerns that we were too arrogant as a club to replace Hogan, instead putting all of our eggs in the Weideman (off 2 finals games) and McDonald basket. I still have concerns. While i have been a big supporter of Sam Weideman, he hasn't exactly shown much to suggest he will be a solid AFL player. I actually have more faith in Harry Petty becoming a better forward then Weideman. McDonald I am just not sure If he is capable of being the number 1 forward as of yet. This year he was taking the number one defender and struggled, unlike back in 2018 when he was taking the 2nd best defender. Our key forwards are still a worry. Oh and it's Brendan Goddard, the guy is the biggest sook and whinger the game has seen. Played with a former Essendon rookie last year who said that he was quite disliked by majority of younger to mid players. We dont have to like every player thats played the game Bob...

Is Bernie still at the club? Barely heard boo from him? -
I don't have mail, but reading recent writes ups and articles seem to point thay we are having serious consideration for Green at 3. I believe Giants are looking for a needs base with Jackson and Young firmly in their sights.
-
If we bid on Green and GWS don't match then this would be a huge coup for us. Green is rated on level with Rowell and Anderson. The comparisons to Cripps is real. Drums are beating that it's looking more likely we will bid on Green and GWS really considering whether to match or not.

Then in my opinion its a no deal for us. Keep pick 8.

Really hope he doesn't break down over these next few months. Happy to ease him right through the pre season if it means we can get 10-15 games out of him. -
Mate he's not coming to us.

@KC from Casey have you heard anything in regards to recruits? Seems like every year we tend to focus on NAB league players who finish. Our depth this year was quite poor.

Fair enough then.

If you're talking about Salem and Petracca I think you're being extremely harsh. Both boys self funded a high rigorous training camp in the US with exposure to professional NFL clubs and world class gym facilities. They did this on the back of Josh Dunkley and Marcus Bontempelli last year doing the exact same thing and Dunkley especially being on record this year to benefiting him for his break out year. If they are not oblige as you say to be there, but are going the extra mile in terms of training preparation and also training with world class athletes then what's the issue? I swear some people want to find an excuse to sink the boots at any cost. Players can't win these days.
