What a brilliant interview. I could seriously listen to Burgo all day with his knowledge unlike the bland and boring Dave Misson.. Also did anyone hear say that Braydon Pruess has drop a remarkable 8 kilos!? Amazing effort from the big fella.

I am a Goodwin fan. The fact that he has been able to play a huge role in bringing in blokes likes of Jordan Lewis, Jake Lever, Steven May, Ed Langdon, Adam Tomlinson and Harley Bennell speaks volume on the guy. Watch the interview with Alan Richardson and he even mention that he was blown away how impressive Goody is with his enthusiasm, dedication and that he was an incredible hard worker. I have spoken to people in the past who have had dealings with him in the past and all said the same thing in terms of that you couldn't find a more impressive and dedicated individual who has a sense of real care and compassion for his players.

One thing Serong doesn't need is gym work. He's already solidly built. If anything, he has been told that by several clubs that they will trim him down over the pre season so they can start to really expose his midfield talent as well as forward where he will start his career.

Interesting on SEN this morning Caleb Serong was interviewed. When asked who out of all the coaches had impressed him the most at draft camp he said Simon Goodwin. Don't think we read too much into it, but i thought that was interesting.

Going for the pics on the MFC website, - Spargo and Jordon have bulked up significantly. - Pruess has completey changed his body shape. What an amazing transformation. He's given himself the best opportunity for next year no doubt. - Well done to Tom McDonald and Max Gawn for coming in when they weren't suppose to and still partake in training but also help the young blokes out. Smells of absolute leadership.

From instagram it seems Petracca, Salem, Brayshaw, ANB and Lever are still overseas in the US.

He's showing all the signs of someone that is desperate for a AFL lifeline and to repay the faith to whoever picks him up. My only issue is that there will be a sense of complacent once he settles and the urge of falling back into that trap again will be quite high.

Thanks mate. My biggest worry if that if we are only offering to have him train in hope of picking him up later, then Geelong could swoop in and get him as a delisted free agent which gives him security straight away.
