  1. No. He got the chop from two clubs as an assistant coach for a reason.

That Dean Kent guy looks good. Max King will be a beauty. Hannerbery looks likes he's done a hamstring??
  3. Payroll with the article. My brother is currently with Box Hill Hawks. He said they were notified that Casey had to cancel one of their training sessions this week.
  4. You mean the bloke that has no idea what he's doing? What about the likes of Corey Wagner or Toby Bedford who were fit and ready to go? If you're legit taking Goodwin on his word then I think its you that's confused. What's complicated is Goodys coaching ability.
  5. Plough get its. Its amazing some on here are still putting blind faith in Goodwin. We actually have the list to play finals this year, but it is him that's ruining every ounce of that happening.
  6. Give me King any day of the week. I was happy to trade pick 3 last year to Gold Coast for King.
  7. What was said by Plapp??
  8. In the scratch matches he's been playing as a small defender.
  9. I don't think Goodwin knows either.
  10. But they played him round 1. When you take the field you are deemed fit. Don't give me that crock of [censored] bing. Even a half fit Bennell is better then someone like Spargo.
  11. Don't know. But its by far one of the most uninspiring team selection in a long time.
  12. Spargo ahead of Bennell? You've [censored] lost the plot Goodwin.
  13. I believe Goody tried this last year with Jordan Lewis playing deep on Grimes? Unfortunately the rest didn't take care of itself.
  14. He's had 3 average games mate.
  15. Good to see not much has changed upstairs with Dunn..
  16. Problem is we actually have forwards there waiting. Unfortunately they are playing park footy on a 9am Sunday morning.
  17. DD no one is saying Port would let him go.. We are talking about pre draft, before he became a port player. When he is out of contract then yeah don't be surprised if he have a sniff. We may or we may not, who knows. Right now I see his long term future at Port Power.
  18. What? I never once mentioned were letting him go? I am talking about his draft year. Our first pick was Tom Sparrow in the 2nd rouns after we gave up pick 6 for May. Leading up to the draft we were having talks with clubs in trying to get back into the first round to snare Zak Butters. Jason Taylor was a very big fan.
  19. I know for a fact that we were trying to trade back into the first round for Zak Butters. He's having a pretty solid career at Port so far.
  20. Welcome back Bull! Loved him as a player. Competitive and hard, body just let him down unfortunately.
  21. A part of me think this probably needs to be the case. After last years review, I was shocked that the likes of Chaplin, Plapp, Rooke were all kept on as assistants. I don't rate any of them.
  22. I've lost faith in him.
  23. Chazz, I agree with everything you've said. This whole recruiting Mitch Brown simply does not make sense if we are refusing to to play him. I would rather have just recruited a developing key forward and spend that last senior spot on that kid. If not then let's use Brown as a tall marking target. Even if its going to relieve McDonald for the time being. Instead the biggest glaring weakness right now is our tall forwards, and yet we have 2 who are currently playing park football on a Sunday morning. The current list management and coaching of late is mind boggling.
  24. I wanted Casboult 2 years ago when he was on the scrap heap and was up for trade. Got howled down for it. As you say, best hands in the comp and would have taken an extra big body to relive McDonald and Weideman at the time. He won't win you game, but he's a hard working competitor.
  25. Unfortunately we are not an attractive destination.. I look at a club like Collingwood that is in need of a key forward and I know who id much rather prefer to play with.
