And sometimes the bananas rise even higher!

Not mine, WCW (when you read this after 24 hours' banishment...) - I was referring to the Post GF thread, homing in on 100 😁 p.s. And, yes, you really do need to!😠 Nah, just kidding 😄
-
You should post that over on that thread pushing for 100 pages, Red😄 Anyone else got a COVID face like mine? We only get about 2/3 of that well-identified feeling then, Red, but it's still mighty fine.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Timothy Reddan-A'Blew replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
On track (Trac?) for 100 pages in 100 days (Monday)! (p.s. Monday is NOT to be the end of the honeymoon! MFC is the polar opposite of politics!) -
POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Timothy Reddan-A'Blew replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
On my umpteenth viewing last week I noticed that, after his initial involvement in the bounce, Luke isn't on the receiving end of Viney's toe poke by design; he actually stumbles out of the centre action but amazingly it's to where the toe poke goes, and in the direction of its movement. He recovers instantly, and the rest is history. -
2021 Player Reviews: #31 Bayley Fritsch
Timothy Reddan-A'Blew replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
He does, but then in a funny way he doesn't seem to. He's one of those players for whom time seems to slow. I also noticed in 'The 59' how much Tom McDonald was involved in the delivery to him. Also noticed quite a few one-hand scoops on the run, of which 'that' GF goal was the pinnacle - a trademark unfolding? And isn't it great to see good old fashioned leads, to precision (yes, precision!) delivery, culminating in leaping chest marks. -
Hooray?

Veer? That was too good for it not to, Mr Stone, to be sure. Brilliantly unearthed, too. -

And there's no question; it's Two Twenty-two, not Twenty Twenty-two. Still, a premiership in either will be just fine... -
I posted this on another thread. Should have known there'd be a near-Christmas specific thread!😄 Our Captain is a master of understatement. His caption for Tom Sparrow's kick for goal in 'that 32 seconds' is "Tom Sparrow gets the ball away". And for Clayton Oliver's post-goal glory arc it's "Clayton Oliver celebrates a goal". LOL. Really.

https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1042548/chandler-masters-the-art-of-off-season-work On topic, I hope: Such confidence and intent, and belief in himself as being at least equal to the exceptional incumbents. And presumably several others share all that with respect to their selves. But, in the strong hope of another healthy year, and maintained (and even improved) form, where are the opportunities for these players to better an incumbent?

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Timothy Reddan-A'Blew replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Just the right word, Fork. I let out a literal primal scream, a sound I'd never made before, piercing, and entirely involuntary (scared my partner - and me a bit!). Funny thing is, I can't be certain it was that goal; I think it was - must have been? - and so I'm with you on your other point: How I'd love to relive that moment and feeling in real time. Perhaps next time(/year?😉) there will be the same moments and we can watch it all more mindfully and come away with better-filled memory banks. -
I'm seeing what you did there, Jack!🙂

Never over, D! But could you post it in a seeable form pls.

😄Yep, we've got to take any and all opportunities to remind them of 2021! However, a misunderstanding methinks, M. Frog? Geelong would have been 1930 premiers under the current system. They beat C'ood'nt in the first grand final but the C'ood'nts challenged as minor premiers and won the challenge.
