Sorry, IRW; it did sound like I was mounting an argument. But, as 'Mad As Hell' (aren't we all?!) character Chris Lorax would say, it was 'Just a bit of fun...' Missed the mark, obviously. And anyway, embarrassingly, I think I did get my facts wrong: was it Collingwood and Carlton only we and Essendon beat? Nice to be considered childish, though, approaching the big Seven-O! (see, I can't help myself😁) -

I'd thought that, too, GM; the red yoke should go across the width of the shoulders if it's to match the traditional guernsey. However, see my post now on the Votes thread: another angle, shall we say?

You can 'roll' out the obverse again on Thursday, W 😁 It was good, by the way, that they had a go at a narrow ground yesterday, as preparation for that other 'K' Park on Thursday. Eliza McNamara noted the issue, and how they dealt with it, in her post match. And did you notice who kicked their goal? Little fist pump?😉

Agree with the various player observations (except Birch: harsh!) L. Pearce back to her injury-free(?) best - great chase and smother in front of the DA leading to a goal.

Yep. Per her post-selection interview (see OP), in her own words she's been 'in and around the half forward line...trying to create scores for the girls in front'. Looking at her Gaelic footy vision, if she's made the transition from round to oval ball, her delivery skills shouldn't be a problem!

My OP was just at a specific emotional level, DD; the boys finals are dead to me now (unless Collingwood and Carlton both crash and burn...) I've moved on, very happily, to the girls' very entertaining campaign.
