When I try to 'PM' anyone now, I get the message '@xxxx cannot receive messages'. Even with 'Landers who I've successfully PM-ed to and with previously I get this message if I try to new-message them. I can continue to PM them by continuing an existing message thread, though. And I can receive messages from new and previous correspondents and then proceed with message threads with them. Help?
